As a biological female I have experienced:
A c section
Pre eclampsia (nearly died)
Single motherhood, currently 90% of all single parents are female, the 10% of men are considered progressive and put on pedestals
Sexual assault, a few times and one horrific incident
I have HPV and have had a lot of smears, and 3 lots of my cervix chopped off, all "pre cancerous cells" have another one next month wish me luck
I've been a victim of domestic violence (strangled me until I was unconscious and broke three of my toes) he was charged with criminal damage, like that's unusual? I'm 32
I have had a period every single month since I was 11 years old

My Aibu is this. Am I being fucking unreasonable to think that India willoughby from CBB is taking this piss out of what being a biological female means, because she somehow in her brain thinks she is an actual woman? How? I don't wake up I the morning and think "ooh I feel so womanly, I need lipstick a dress and eye liner"
I wake up and get on with life, regardless if I have a period or not, because that's who I am, not because who I believe I am.
I understand people who can't cope with gender stereotypes, but reducing being a woman to looking pretty and clothing boils my blood

Biology does not lie when it comes to sexual attraction, and deep down inside India must know that. Straight men do not want to put their penis into an inverted penis, as Mooncuplanding has already said.
I think there's some kind of fantasy that transwomen can pass so well that straight men will fancy them and be so carried away that they don't notice they are f*ing an inverted penis, and obviously that isn't going to happen with India. I think her whole sense of self hinges on this delusion and she just can't cope with reality.

ATeardropExplodes · 08/01/2018 20:02

I am 50. I've been on many holidays with women, some squares and some outrageously flamboyant, shared beds and rooms with friends, [male and female], saunas, changing rooms after swimming, showering in the same space as women, in spas, in caravans, on boats where you are in very close contact and never ever ever has one woman ever got her tits out in front of anyone else let alone started massaging them like that. Ever. Women do not do that! It's like they are ornaments, not breasts. Which they are if you are a bloke I suppose.

That has got me so fucking angry. STOP presenting your behaviour as 'womanly' - that is not how we do things.

Timelass · 08/01/2018 20:05

Just wondering if the joys of the menopausal/experience
is on her female agenda? Hmm

Backingvocals · 08/01/2018 20:13

Or elder care. Or childcare. Or wife work. Or low pay. Or any of the real challenges of women’s economic life.

BeyondWW · 08/01/2018 20:14

Well, without commenting too much on India's clothes and being the Bad Feminist, some of the outfits would suggest India's internal thermostat is indeed out of whack! Grin

MadgeMak · 08/01/2018 20:23

Funny how Lyra just turned up, frothing about what vile transphobes we all are, posted some debunked “scientific” bollocks to support her point of view, then fucked off. Quelle surprise.

BeyondWW · 08/01/2018 20:25

They must be evolving - it's usually just the "transphobic" plop, no follow on 😂

More first look stuff. India yet again trying to paint Genuwine as trasphobic as he said he would not shag India. Lovely. Only way Genuwine can prove he is not in Indias eyes is to shag India.

BeyondWW · 08/01/2018 20:28

India hasn't had a relationship post surgery, yet honestly seems to be trying to manipulate Gin into a BB shag?

Weird. I've squeezed out two kids and had gynae surgery, and can't imagine wanting any of those tentative first shags to be under the eye of a live audience.

Confused
MoKnickers · 08/01/2018 20:29

Oh here we go again he’s a fucking bloke. So sick of this crap.

Mooncuplanding · 08/01/2018 20:31

Someone just mentioned fuckability - that is one of the key areas of social conditioning that all females experience from the moment they are conscious of the world - "How pretty am I?"

IW has no concept of what this means and seems to be under the illusion that all men want to fuck any woman at any time and that women hold all the power to control this which is deeply misogynistic (I wonder if he was a very unattractive man and couldn't get any?), when the reality is there are massive power dynamics going on, status seeking behaviours AND an actual biological desire to reproduce (hence the older birds amongst us no longer being viewed as fuckable - yayyyy!)

Again, I could feel sorry for IW, if I could be arsed.

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/01/2018 20:37

Judging by that clip, someone is going to lose it with India soon and deliver a few home truths.

And will then likely get thrown out of the house.

HelenaDove · 08/01/2018 20:39

Mooncup that was me. IW hasnt experienced having to pass the fuckability test in the same way that a biological woman has.

There is no better way than being over a size 12 to experience this first hand.

BatShite · 08/01/2018 20:52

Judging by that clip, someone is going to lose it with India soon and deliver a few home truths.

I think it will be Andrew who finally snaps from what I have seen. He will be thrown out.

I hope its Shane who does it though..I think he could do it without getting chucked out.

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 08/01/2018 20:55

Can you share the clip?

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/01/2018 20:57

yy Batshite

On both counts

Thing is, they all think it will be career suicide for them to challenge India. They have no idea how most of the general public perceive India ( based on threads on here and Digital Spy)

Boyslikepinkgirlslikeblue · 08/01/2018 21:03

I've been thinking about all this the past few days. Courtney/Shane is brilliant. He recognises the difference between sex and gender. He recognises it is a costume. I'm also feeling a little bit sorry for India. Feeling "sorry for" is maybe pushing it. Not because I think he's a real woman, but because people have been validating his dillusions of being a real woman. It's feeding his entitlement. I still can't work out if he actually believes he is a woman, or he believes he is entitled to be treated female and accepted as female. It's this whole "I believe I'm female, everyone else must validate my reality" it's forcing people to lie about their own reality to validate somebody else's dillusion. Either way, the way India is acting around ginuwine is a bit rapey. I'm straight so would not be in a position of a sexual encounter by deception with a trans woman. I'd imagine it would be scary as hell if a lesbian unknowingly (I'd say this would be rare, most don't pass) got intimate with a trans woman and found out they had a penis. The difference is that if I were in that position with a trans man, I'd have more of an equal physical defence to escape than the other way round. It's Indias mindset that needs confronted. Nobody is entitled to sex from anyone.

I've only watched clips, can't be bothered to sit through it all.
Thought her rant at Amanda just shrieked of mansplaining.

I did know someone who had gender reassignment surgery. It showed the whole system was wrong as it shouldn't have gone through.
They obviously had huge issues about being gay (family had disowned) and obviously decided being a woman was an answer.
Literally though putting on a frock, some lippy and heels would make them irresistible to men.
Unfortunately they were still middle aged and over weight - she spent a lot of time trying to chat up 20 year olds (they were 45), men are not gagging it from any female - we've all learned that from experience.
They've never had a relationship post surgery sadly.

Boyslikepinkgirlslikeblue · 08/01/2018 21:22

The medical profession have been validating all of this. In my opinion giving people what they want is not always what they need

OP posts:
Boyslikepinkgirlslikeblue · 08/01/2018 21:36

India has a phobia of drag queens as they invalidate transsexuals. They show gender stereotypes for what they are

OP posts:
FrancisUnderwood · 08/01/2018 21:44

India doesn't have a phobia, she has a grudge.

Eminybob · 08/01/2018 21:50

Literally no one has a phobia of drag queens.
I think India thinks that acting that way will distance herself from drag queens so that people won’t put them in the same catergory.

Shane/Courtney is brilliant. So self aware and lovely.

Boyslikepinkgirlslikeblue · 08/01/2018 22:07

To be fair call it phobia or not, drag queens show gender up for what it is, India is going by the belief gender is innate. The reason I said I feel sorry for her/him, is that for what ever reason he didn't fit into maleness, or "masculinity"obviously it doesn't make him female, it's not the soloution. Telling gender to fuck off out of our language would be a good start. Let us wear what we want, love who we want and have unique personalities. Biology does not change. If you are born with a cock and balls you are still male, even if you are kind, submissive and like wearing dresses. Gender stereotypes do not just oppress women they oppress men too, otherwise, why so many trans?
