As a biological female I have experienced:
A c section
Pre eclampsia (nearly died)
Single motherhood, currently 90% of all single parents are female, the 10% of men are considered progressive and put on pedestals
Sexual assault, a few times and one horrific incident
I have HPV and have had a lot of smears, and 3 lots of my cervix chopped off, all "pre cancerous cells" have another one next month wish me luck
I've been a victim of domestic violence (strangled me until I was unconscious and broke three of my toes) he was charged with criminal damage, like that's unusual? I'm 32
I have had a period every single month since I was 11 years old

My Aibu is this. Am I being fucking unreasonable to think that India willoughby from CBB is taking this piss out of what being a biological female means, because she somehow in her brain thinks she is an actual woman? How? I don't wake up I the morning and think "ooh I feel so womanly, I need lipstick a dress and eye liner"
I wake up and get on with life, regardless if I have a period or not, because that's who I am, not because who I believe I am.
I understand people who can't cope with gender stereotypes, but reducing being a woman to looking pretty and clothing boils my blood

I though Andrew came across as considerate, thoughtful and caring and IW just threw it back in his face.

Note Malika jus got and left. Really the rest of them should have.

Also note that the end Andrew shouted male insults not female.

FrancisUnderwood · 08/01/2018 22:13

It'll descend into IW screaming in the diary room that she needs help and the reality of it is......she does.

Boyslikepinkgirlslikeblue · 08/01/2018 22:17

Andrew was pretending to believe India was a women to not hurt his feelings, because he's a decent person. That's what I mean, we are being forced to validate other people's dillusions as if we don't reject our own reality and validate theirs we are thought of as transphobic. The truth is the truth. Whilst I still have freedom of speech, I can say that. I'm hopeful people are beginning to recognise this

They have no idea how most of the general public perceive India ( based on threads on here and Digital Spy)

Ooh is digital spy letting people criticize India? I haven't posted there as I kept getting deleted in general trans threads for basically saying biology is real.

I guess this series they HAVE to allow it or they would be deleting 50% of the posts

Boyslikepinkgirlslikeblue · 08/01/2018 22:37

Majority of the public dismiss and laugh at trans people, trouble is, they are changing social policy/law by the back door when your average people are going to work and saying live and let live as they havnt had the time for critical thought, which in turn changes attitudes. Anybody know how much money the company who makes puberty blockers have made in the last few years? There has to be a reason for all the promotion of trans rights and to be fair, it's rarely for people's well being. As with most things, follow the money, or the political agenda.

AssignedPuuurfectAtBirth · 08/01/2018 22:40

That's the problem Boys. This being nice and pretending that it's true will backfire massively when it's made law and we are punished for not pretending.

Therefore I'm not going to anymore. I'm not going to use inaccurate pronouns and I'm not going to pretend that a man is a woman and vice versa

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/01/2018 22:41

BatShite DS has a stern warning up and are deleting/locking lots of threads but the mood there is most definitely not pro-India

Eltonjohnssyrup · 08/01/2018 22:47

It's quite good though in a way. A lot of Pro-trans people in the general public just think it means be nice to chaps who wear dresses. I think this will bring a lot of deeper issues about transactivism to more people who haven't thought about them. E.g. Not wanting to sleep with someone who's trans being transphobic. The absolute insistence that they ARE women. The misogyny involved.

She a terfy Xmas present come late!

JustGiveMeTwoMinutes · 08/01/2018 22:48

Why aren't you lot all over the James Caspian thread? It feels to me that you are all talk, but given the chance of taking some action and it all goes Marie Celeste.....

MsGameandWatching · 08/01/2018 22:50

You've no idea what I or anyone else does outside this forum. I won't be explaining myself to you but I am happy with what I have done to speak up.

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/01/2018 22:52

How about linking the James Caspian thread?

Boyslikepinkgirlslikeblue · 08/01/2018 22:57

"She's a terfs Xmas presents come late"
I love that, to be fair most people don't recognise what's actually happening with the law!

India was in monologue mode by then, after two hours of psyching up/method acting practise in bed

BoreOfWhabylon · 08/01/2018 23:04

So, India's never been to Pride...?

JustGiveMetwoMinutes seriously? Unless you can see we are taking action, that action doesn't exist?

The Caspian action is great, but not everybody has to do everything. I'm doing plenty, thanks. You aren't going to entice more people over just by telling us all off, you know.

polaricecaps · 08/01/2018 23:08

boys your comments are generally spot on.

I was secretly surprised that IW was included in 'all-female' lineup and that there wasn't more mainstream objection.

I don't care if a man wants to wear a dress or shag a man - but those aren't the defining characteristics of a woman and I don't really understand why any man would want to become a woman.

NellyFrestelli · 08/01/2018 23:09

Come on show the pride tweets Rylan!

MsGameandWatching · 08/01/2018 23:13

The asked Paris first in order to set a sympathetic tone to the discussion.

JustGiveMeTwoMinutes · 08/01/2018 23:23

Sorry don't know how to link but it's called "Update from James Caspian on his case against Bath Spa University to be allowed to research detransitioners" and has 9 posts on it. Compared to 10 pages on this thread.

TheFairyCaravan · 08/01/2018 23:26

India has been trending on Twitter tonight and not in a good way. The general consensus is they’re an attention seeking, lying victim who should be evicted.

MsGameandWatching · 08/01/2018 23:34

Where is it?

JustGiveMeTwoMinutes · 08/01/2018 23:36

Feminism chat

Whinesalot · 08/01/2018 23:37

I find it strange that India was so emphatic that she knows exactly what a female organism is like. She knows what an inverted penis organism is like.
I feel desperately sorry for her. She's a psychological mess.
