AIBU to believe raping 100 women is worth more than nine years in jail?

Nah, the sooner we realise that women are expendable the sooner we get back in our box.

Gingernaut · 04/01/2018 16:28

Clicky link

yolofish · 04/01/2018 16:29

disgusting.

OldEnglishSheepDog · 04/01/2018 16:30

I saw this and assumed I'd misread it. I supposed the powers that be have realised that all of his victims were begging for it. (Sarcasm)

How utterly depressing.

frogsoup · 04/01/2018 16:31

Unbelievable, and yet, sadly, not surprising at all. Yet another demonstration that our lives as women are expendible.

BlackeyedSusan · 04/01/2018 16:31

shit isn't it?

IrkThePurist · 04/01/2018 16:31

I do not fucking believe it Angry

WillowWept · 04/01/2018 16:32

I'm horrified.

A man who has raped and assaulted 100+ men would never be released. I really believe there is a view that women just don't matter.

BarbarianMum · 04/01/2018 16:32

Don't worry, he was released on the say so of the parole board. That means he must have seen the error of his ways, pose no substantial risk to men society and be very, very sorry. Hmm

Gingernaut · 04/01/2018 16:33

Well, let's face it. If a man convicted of killing two women was let out to kill a third, then someone who lets his victims live is unlucky if he gets jail time at all......

Marylou2 · 04/01/2018 16:34

I’m so angry. How can it be safe to release this man? 100 rapes, 100 women’s lives severely affected plus those of their partners, children, families and friends. Women obviously don’t matter at all to the criminal justice system.

jay55 · 04/01/2018 16:34

After reading about Theodore Johnson earlier in the week nothing surprises me when it comes to violence against women.

Lambside · 04/01/2018 16:34

Having had a quick read of google results I'd say there is every chance that he still represents a threat to women.
.Disgusting specimen.
.Example of worse than useless policing.

ThymeLord · 04/01/2018 16:34

You beat me to it Gingernaut. I was going to say the same.

Rebeccaslicker · 04/01/2018 16:35

Twitter is exploding with sensible comments.

Shame nobody will take them into account.

Urgh, vile specimen.

Marylou2 · 04/01/2018 16:37

If you’re a Daily Mail journalist trawling through Mumsnet looking for a thread to reprint as news. Try this one! Use your influence and circulation to get this travesty of a decision overturned.

walkingtheplank · 04/01/2018 16:38

About a month per woman. Disgusting.

LanaKanesLeftNippleTassle · 04/01/2018 16:38

On what fucking cunting shithole of a planet is this fucking ok??!! AngryAngry

Are we really worth so fucking little?!

As if I needed any more confirmation that women are lesser.

So we should just put up and shut up when we get raped, or must have been asking for it, or lying about it....despite men like this raping time and time again and basically fucking getting away with it.

I am so so fucking angry at the cuntweasels who think this is ok.

efeslight · 04/01/2018 16:42

I am also sickened by this.

BumpowderSneezeonAndSnot · 04/01/2018 16:42

It's disgusting. Someone local to me was told they would get 7 years as a conservative estimate for repeated episodes of sexual assault (groping) of women got 2 served 3 months.

BumpowderSneezeonAndSnot · 04/01/2018 16:43

lambside This isn't a policing issue. They did their job by catching him and gathering evidence. This is a criminal justice issue.

CraftyGin · 04/01/2018 16:44

I thought he was convicted of sexual assault of 19 women.

The rage should be targeted at the original tariff, not that he has been released 2 years after this.

horatioisabrick · 04/01/2018 16:44

Ah, someone already posted a link to Theodore Johnson's case.

It's absolutely disgusting and I personally do see this as sign about the value of woman's life and sexual integrity...

It makes me so mad and worried for my DDs.

Haffiana · 04/01/2018 16:45

This is unreal.

TheFairyCaravan · 04/01/2018 16:45

DS1 (23) just read this out to me. He said it seems like life doesn’t mean a human’s life, it means a Guinea Pigs life. He couldn’t be more right.

We’re both absolutely disgusted by this. Just what to people have to do for them to serve their sentences nowadays?
