Had about 10 dates with him.
Paid for myself on each date (which is fine by me)
Tomorrow night he has invited me to his for a Mexican themed night (just me and him)
He said he is making some tacos and I said il bring some starters /wedges/dips,and a few little ready made cocktails.
He said he will buy some tequila for margaritas..then says shall we go halfs on the cost of the margarita ingredients?
I'm sorry but I think that's stingy?

I'd cancel and let him know in no uncertain terms that I was incredibly turned off by his obsession with the cost of everything and that he could eat his tacos by himself. What a miserable git.

I would run a mile. Sorry but even though I don't think men should pay for everything, any man I was dating who worked stuff out so we paid exactly half each for EVERYthing, down to the last penny, could fuck right off.

And it's a well documented fact that men who are financially tight and stingy, are selfish and boring in bed.

Well, to be fair he's not quite as bad as the boyfriend on the other thread tonight who made his GF sleep in the car rather than pay for a hotel. (But give it time....)
Ps. A Margarita also needs Cointreau or Triple Sec (orange liqueur) as well as Tequila , limes and salt. But if he's bought a bottle of each he'd be really tight expecting you to pay half, there's no way you're going to drink all that in one evening. He gets to keep the rest of the bottles after all.

I personally don't bother with salt or lime but a fucking lemon... Nah, but yeah he seems like a real tight arse... Not an attractive trait especially this early on.

You invite someone for a meal and you pay for the stuff you have chosen to provide. You don't ask them to go halves at your house!!

Tell him you spent £17 and you will let him off with the difference he owes you and he can spend it on his next girlfriend.
