AIBU- Someone has used my unusual baby name

I wanted my baby to have a one of a kind unique name.
I made up a name that I love. It's definetly never been used before.
(I realise this sounds dodgy already)

Anyway, my baby is 7 months old and someone in my town has just given birth and used the name.
I actually feel really gutted about it.

I realise I am about to be flamed in the comments.
BUt how can I feel less gutted about this? Meh

I can't take this! The OP did not think she made up "Farrah". She must have changed her mind since that last thread. Shame because Farrah is cute, just not made up!

Doris, my eldest is Ana-Glypta.

I am biased of course but I think it really suits her.

Hmm isn't farrow something to do with pigs? Is it called farrowing when they give birth, like whelping? Or a country word gor a sow? I mean as well as ploughing a straight farrow. Vague memories of the Archers....

I think the OP is getting a bit of a hard time here- like others, I assume she must have changed the name since the last thread. If the OP was so keen for it to be unusual and new, presumably she'd have googled Farrah and realised it wasn't (and may be why the name got changed!)

Either way OP... we need to know the name

I have a friend who made up her daughters name. A collection of letters she thought looked pretty. Everyone, of course, asks where it's from and she properly gets the hump, saying it's not FROM anywhere, why does a name have to be FROM somewhere, why can't a name be just a name... and on & on she goes. We've TRIED to put her straight, but there's no telling her. Now we just shoot her a 'look' that says. DO NOT START! 😂 Other than this she's pretty sane & lovely.

Just realised I love the name Farrah. I never knew! Although I did know it is a name.

I called my son Percival Sheridan and sent him to the local shitty comp, as a social experiment. He now twitched quite badly, although he's now used to the beatings.

Just guessing here but somehow I doubt it is Farrah. Either the OP's baby is a twin or she decided not to name her Farrah after all and as a result the new made up name was born.

Nobody can honestly believe they made up the name Farrah.
