AIBU- Someone has used my unusual baby name

I wanted my baby to have a one of a kind unique name.
I made up a name that I love. It's definetly never been used before.
(I realise this sounds dodgy already)

Anyway, my baby is 7 months old and someone in my town has just given birth and used the name.
I actually feel really gutted about it.

I realise I am about to be flamed in the comments.
BUt how can I feel less gutted about this? Meh

I knew a Farrah at school in the late 90's and used to say, "The Farrah away the better", but then she was a total skank and a thief, so.. Biscuit

A friend of a friend of a friend has the surname FRANG, and just named her daughter Aelfrida Shock

I hate things like this. Sorry OP but you can’t copyright your children’s names. If it has been a family member then I’d maybe agree that it was a bit shitty, but I’d think that even with an uniorginal name. I named my son a slightly uncommon but not all that unusual name. I only know of him and another with his name. I had picked it out months before he was born but a girl I don’t speak to but is on my husband’s Facebook had a little boy a month or so before me and called him the same name. After our baby born, she put up indirect status after indirect status about how we had stolen her child’s name. I find the whole thing quite petty unless, as I said, it’s your sister or brother calling their babies the same name.
