Mothers ott reaction to Child going to school...get a grip

All over Facebook mothers ott reactions to children going to school..
The one that got my goat was....
"I stand and watch you walk away with tears in my eyes,the girl I once knew has gone,you will never be fully mine again"
The child is going into year 2 not sent to a Japanese concentration camp...

When dtds stared school dh and I took them in and most other mums were sobbing. Dh and I looked at each other (having taken a day off work), grinned and said "shall we go to a coffee shop?"

Maybe I love my children less but I love them growing up and cannot yearn for baby days ... I did that part and I'm done lol

I hate it when they go back to school. I love the lazy summer days with us all together. Plus time goes so fast.

I do have to admit a big part of it is because I'm off for the whole 6 weeks so I don't want to go back to work though.
