Fish N Chips

Okay ... crazy one for you ... currently on holiday with my DP my DC and three DSC

Tonight we ordered our meals at a restaurant on site.. my meal, my son and one of the step children meal arrived, the others didn't. So immediately we asked where the other meals where and the restaurant apologised and said they had forgotten. They offered us free fish and chips from the site chippy which we accepted.
While we were waiting for the chips my son and two of the step children went back to eat the food from the restaurant.

My other DSC went back in a bit after to eat half of "my" meal with his sister, but she'd eaten all the double cheeseburger and chips. Anyway got back to the caravan and DSS who had nothing to eat joined us and the 3 of us tucked into fish & chips. Then the others arrived back after eating their meals, and asked for their fish & chips as well?!?! (First question, what would you do give them it?)

But then DSD said to DSS, save it till tomorrow as that's what we'd said to the others (bearing in mind they'd eaten already). Is that weird what DSS said? Is she trying to say it's fair? Wwyd???

Yes yabu only because I've had an operation, lost 80% of my stomach and I want fish and chips now !

The ones who'd managed to GET a meal in the restaurant then expected the fish and chips TOO.

I don't get the problem. You just tell the child that hasn't eaten that they can eat the food.

I don't really get where you're heading with what the girl said.

I suspect you're saying you think she eats too much. Obviously, we have no idea about this.

I really hope this isn't going to turn out to be a weird thread.

So...
Six people,ordered food
Three meals arrived
Offer of six fish and chips was made by owner
Three people ate the three meals
Three different people went for fish and chips
One of the meal eaters then asked for her fish and chips from the offer of the six fish and chips made previously
Then aforementioned meal eater told a fish and chip eater to not eat his fish and chips,as it wasn't fair he was eating fish and chips and she wasn't?

So DSD1, DS and DSD2 had their pub meal which came.
You, DP and DSS had the chippy meal.
DSD1, DS and DSD2 wanted their fish and chips there and then, despite eating their pub meal already. When they were told no, DSD1 wanted DSS to not eat his meal and to have his chippy the next day, with the other three, despite DSS not having eaten?

I'd tell the three who had eaten to pipe down, tell DSS to enjoy his chips and left DSD1 know that if you redeem the other vouchers on another day DSS will also get a meal, he isn't missing a meal tonight just because she hasn't had the same.

So 6 fish and chip vouchers but because 3 people had already eaten you only used 3 of them today to feed the three that hadn't eaten?
Sounds fair dsd1 can wait until tomorrow for fish and chips she doesn't get to have 2 dinners and of course Dss shouldn't be going without a dinner because dsd1 can't have second helpings.

So DSD wanted DSS to save his chips for tomorrow like everyon else has to. Even though he hadn't eaten. No, thats not fair as he has to eat

So, is the core of it that you have one DC who is greedy and who suggested another DC should hand over that DC's own tea? Ie greedy DC wanted two meals and tried to persuade the DC who had not so far had one to 'share'?

Right OP, DP and 4 DC ordered a meal each so 6 meals.

3 meals came

They complained and got given free fish and chips and got told they could keep the 3 meals

3 DC had the meals leaving 1 without

After eating the meals they also wanted some fish and chips, got told no and encouraged the DC who didn't eat not to eat

I think they redeemee 3 out of 6 vouchers and the 3 pub meal eaters then wanted to redeem the other 3 vouchers.
When this was stopped DSD1 wanted DSS (who had a chippy) to forgo his as it wasn't fair.

I think the mention of DSD1s weight was in relation to her wanting 2 meals and OP didn't know whethwr she should let her eat again.
