Been home 5 mins from hairdressers.
Just got a weft in for £350 and don't know what I expected but this just isn't it...
Doesn't it look lank?
What do you think?

In my experience getting extensions often needs a professional cut as well - fucking infuriating as well. Does the picture have your natural hair in as well? If so it's a great blend

emochild · 07/08/2017 17:21

Needs cutting and curling

Namechangetempissue · 07/08/2017 17:21

Honestly? Yes, sorry op I agree its not great. Looks very synthetic and uneven. Did you say you were unhappy?

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 07/08/2017 17:22

It'll need a proper cut as well I imagine.

PinkHeart5911 · 07/08/2017 17:22

I don't think they look great tbh and I wouldn't be happy.

Maybe the photo isn't doing it justice? Take another one or get someone to take a photo of the back of your head?

RubaDubMum89 · 07/08/2017 17:22

It doesn't look hideous OP, but I don't think it looks like a £350 job either. Maybe go back to the salon and ask what the crack is?

GutterStar · 07/08/2017 17:22

I don't think it looks very natural. Is it human hair?

Ginkypig · 07/08/2017 17:23

It's difficult to tell from that picture what it actually looks like.

Can you post a better picture you could obscure your face obviously.

Lindsay28xxxx · 07/08/2017 17:24

Yeah it's human hair.
Blended with my own.
I feel like it just hangs (if that makes sense )

Oh it is human? Looks quite plasticky -maybe its product? Definitely needs a decent cut.

Lindsay28xxxx · 07/08/2017 17:26

Should I cut it?

There's no product on it,this is how I left salon Confused

It looks like cheap clip in extensions to be honest, I wouldn't be happy with that for £350.

PantPlot · 07/08/2017 17:28

I'm not slagging off your hair honestly- it's really hard to tell from that photo.

But.

Had I just come home 350 quid lighter from the hairdresser, I don't think I'd want that.

BlondeB83 · 07/08/2017 17:28

Is your natural hair shoulder length? Or just below?

Tazerface · 07/08/2017 17:28

Sorry OP I wouldn't be happy either. I can clearly see your hair and the extensions, you need a cut as well to blend it.

Lindsay28xxxx · 07/08/2017 17:29

Really cool sunglasses though.

Genghi · 07/08/2017 17:30

It's a hack job. Get a refund.

mummabubs · 07/08/2017 17:30

Bless you OP, not what you're wanting to hear but I wouldn't be happy at paying £350 for that. In fairness I don't think it looks lank at all and I really like the overall length, I think for me the issue is that the colour hasn't been blended at all so I feel I can see quite obviously which is your hair and which is the extensions- did they dye/highlight your hair at all? I've had experiences with cowboy hairdressers (is that even a term?) in the past and paid a lot of money for a really naff job so sending empathy your way! I'd give them a call and explain you're really not happy (if indeed you aren't) and could you come back in for them to try and fix it?

Lindsay28xxxx · 07/08/2017 17:30

My hair is a few inches shorter ..
Shall I maybe curl it ?

OP posts:
BlondeB83 · 07/08/2017 17:30

That's also very expensive for a weft, you could have had great lengths in for around £400-450.

GerardButlersBeard · 07/08/2017 17:30

I think it looks very natural, but needs tidying up with a trim to the ends and bit of movement.
