picklemepopcorn · 10/08/2017 06:35

We clearly need a emoji.

Lweji · 10/08/2017 06:54

GinaFordCortina · 10/08/2017 07:16

Oh god, can people not start posting y next to obvious jokes. That would be worse than lighthearted which kills me inside

Lweji · 10/08/2017 07:24

Sadly, there are many joke illiterate around MN lately.

user14809873 · 10/08/2017 08:32

Maybe June & Richard are playing Cilla???!!! & it wasn't an accident!

MoonfaceAndSilky · 10/08/2017 10:07

We had gone up to pull out the airbeds from under their bed and when I stood up I banged my head on the edge of the exercise bike.

I thought you said you were bending down to pick your bobble up and that's when you banged your head?Hmm

GloriaHotcakes · 10/08/2017 10:17

Even the Daily fail don't want to publish this load of old pony.

squattingposition · 10/08/2017 10:23

@MoonfaceAndSilky oh my gawwwwwwd yes because I only bent down just the once! Does every thread on here need the most tiniest walk through details 😩😩

Ok so while reaching under the bed my bobble fell out of my 3 inch long loose plait that I had in my hair from that morning.

My hair was loose as I had had my helmet over it while on my bike hence why I put it in a low plait so it would go on easier.

I must have got it caught on a slat under the bed or maybe it was already on the floor BEFORE I bent down 😱

I wasn't happy that I had to make the effort to bend down twice when I went upstairs expecting to only bend down the once!

Fair to say I was exhausted from the strain that's probably why I slept so well!

Are we inserting a joke emoji from now on or are we all ok? 😆🙌🏻

Sarcasm and joke ⬆️⬆️⬆️

dewdrop85 · 10/08/2017 15:34

Evangeline3 mine too! Better than corra this...

WindyWednesday · 10/08/2017 17:24

Why did you and your friend sleep there when you are only a short bike ride back home?

GriefLeavesItsMark · 10/08/2017 18:13

Ahh more clues, it is a village big enough to support a shop and a cafe (with broadband), and not far from a garage with a coach and bus stop. It is in a rural area that has a bus service good enough for people to prefer to use it over a car.

Is this like a treasure hunt, and the first person to guess gets a prize?

Btw, I only found out a couple of years ago that you can drown fishes!

WindyWednesday · 10/08/2017 18:49

Sounds like the promised land. Rural, good broadband, shop and good bus services all within close distance to the coach station. BTW! Did they leave their car at the coach park?

Greenkit · 10/08/2017 19:40

Bloody love it

Miserable barstools on here

Hope you have along and happy relationship

Evangeline3 · 10/08/2017 22:32

@dewdrop85 Aye! Especially with these Steve and Leanne rubbish 🤷‍♀️

Hmmalittlefishy · 11/08/2017 08:19

Don't tell anyone on 'escape to the country' where you live op. They are always looking for rural with a village feel with a shop, cafe and fast broadband a regular bus route to the nearest city. Neighbours who all know each other but they want to remain quiet. They also want to 'downsize' to a 5bed house with study, work room, dining room

If you have room for alpacas, chickens or to grow your own veg you will have the whole of the bbc moving in!
They can never find it Hmm

Ladymadness · 11/08/2017 10:54

This is brilliant 😂😂😂😂
Me and DP got locked I a Ford fiesta once. He was messing around with the lock. Locking and then unlocking it just acting like a knob head when the bloody lock jamned 😂 we couldn't pull the handles to let us out because they had jamned with the lock. Dp had to climb into the back seat roll the window down and lean over to the outside handle with his key 😂

wonkylegs · 11/08/2017 14:50

I live in a village and that could almost fulfil those requirements for anyone living rurally around us except we have a small train station which would take you to the closest town where there is a coach stop & big station.

Great broadband, cafe, shop... tick
Friendly people hmm well my neighbours are lovely and we've generally been welcomed since we arrived but some people in the village aren't keen on people who come from too far away (I.e if you literally weren't born in the village you're a foreigner)

Rural idylls do exist we just like to keep them to ourselves Wink
