I'm all out of inspiration here. The grind is getting us all down, interspersed with terrorist attacks, but we shall overcome. In the meantime, there's gin and camaraderie.

Shiny new thread time!

Find it here: www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/2968382-The-one-where-Trump-just-cant-stop-being-Trump?

ayylmaooo · 01/07/2017 06:05

I haven't been rude. You seem fragile.

I've actually just realised this place is full of middle aged women who spend their free time bashing Trump online, completely cut off from outside opinions. I'm now overwhelmed with sadness and pity.

TheClaws · 01/07/2017 06:28

Grin on my. 'Overwhelmed with sadness and pity.' You lack self-awareness. You don't even know when you've been rude! As for 'completely cut off from outside opinions', haven't we just been talking about that? How these threads bring together all kinds of sources? Granted they do have an anti-Trump bias, but we do our research. We go elsewhere. Cross-check. Do you do that?

You just drop in on threads and piss people off, contributing nothing.

Sadly, they may be the most financially troubled state but they're not the only one.

There was a link to a list while ago. IIRC most well off states were Democrat.

Feeling better?

Lweji - You're feeding the GF. At least we can't be accused of being inhospitable on here.

Surely some cake can't hurt.

I'm like the good samaritan, me.
Can't watch people suffer.

Meanwhile Colbert has a few words about Trump tweets.

While Meyers is lost for words.

Continuing my tradition of not posting pro Trump articles. This is interesting background/corroboration wrt the WSJ story.

In answer to the goad fucker feeling sad that I'd "indoctrinated" my child (which wasn't actually the point - the point was that Trump is so self-evidently a mad, dangerous narcissist that even a primary school child could see it for himself and there was no need for indoctrination): well, I feel sad (now there's the bloody understatement of the century) that America has gun laws which allow children the age of my son to be gunned down in their elementary school with semi-automatic weapons.

So, you feel sad for my son, I feel sad for all the children in America needlessly gunned down every year because of the ossification of a law from the 18th century designed for a largely agrarian society with front-loading muskets. As Dr. Johnson said, "I fear they will never agree for they are arguing from different premises."

Orlantina · 01/07/2017 08:38

but from what I've seen, 95%+ links in this thread are from outlets with a BLATANT anti-Trump agenda

I posted some Fox links. The funny thing about Fox links is how they don't mention everything.

For example - when Democrat and Republican States decided not to give the data that the electoral fraud commission wanted, Fox reported it as Democratic states refused to hand it over WITHOUT mentioning the Republican States.

Why do you think they said that? People like Trump watch Fox and he (as POTUS) has been known to retweet stuff from it. Doesn't that worry you? An outlet with such obvious bias.

SanFranBear · 01/07/2017 09:02

You are rude, ayyylmaoo - and unable to answer my question it seems.

Easier to just spout how we're all snowflakes than explain to me how Trump's presidency itself is winning - not the election but his actual presidency. You said he 'continues to win'... how?
