Well surprise surprise Labour supporter comes along and blames Grenfell on Tories...conveniently forgetting that when Labour was in power and spending like crazy they did nothing either or how th Labour London Mayor since he has been. In his role also done nothing. But let's just ignore that shall we cos it doesn't fit the narrative of labourites.

As for the terror attacks wasn't it Blair who went along and helped to desyable the Middle East in the first place...oops let's forget about that too...

No party is innocent.

malificent7 · 16/06/2017 07:04

Entitled and arrogant.... arf!

So Tory voters arent? Many Tory voters resent paying tax to help the vulnerable as they percieve as lazy and having wide screeb tvs.

Many Tory voters want fox hunting vack.

Many tory voters ferl happy with depriving schools and disabled people of money as they dont like tax.

Dont even start me on immigration and Brexit.

Plus tm has had to do the dodgiest of deals with pro life creationalist dup just to get a very slim majority.

Imo anyone voting Tory is entitled and arrogant.

malificent7 · 16/06/2017 07:05

Typos.. sorry phone.

malificent7 · 16/06/2017 07:07

Well the Tories gave had 6 years to sort out Grenfell but were too busy Brexiting and fucking over the poor.

everthibkyouvebeenconned · 16/06/2017 07:08

I see the usual Tory Aologist are here...why do you bother. Not want to march fine.. fuck off then

By the way try telling Grenfell there's no need to march.Anyine who can it's on tonight and will go to Westminster. I can't make it but will be there in spirit. Bless you x

I first protested against apartheid: it's gone (although I accept that South Africa still has a long way to go to be a fair society.)
I protested against Cruise Missiles - they went and the world was a safer place for a good number of years.
I am damned if I will be lectured at about protesting against austerity because it doesn't suit the right wing.

I am not a Labour supporter or particular fan of Corbyn. I am a citizen appalled by the arrogant, self-serving money wasting antics of the current Tory party. May found a magic money tree for her election, didn't she?

moreslackthanslick · 16/06/2017 07:11

Enjoy your protest OP.

To remind you of the protest march in London on July 1st?
everthibkyouvebeenconned · 16/06/2017 07:11

And here are others around the country

metro.co.uk/2017/06/16/rallies-for-victims-of-grenfell-tower-to-be-held-tonight-across-the-uk-6712548/

I won't bother engaging with naysayers anymore but people who are on this thread as they want to march or rally please post any you can find

olliegarchy99 · 16/06/2017 07:13
Biscuit how old (sarcasm!) are some of you on here? I suggest you check your socialist/marxist history in this country and stop being so childish to resort to name-calling/ whinging because you LOST THE DEMOCRATIC ELECTION
NerrSnerr · 16/06/2017 07:13

I am not a Tory supporter and I usually support protests but I do have to agree that we shouldn't be adding to the burden of the emergency services if we can help it at present. It's ok saying it's a 'peaceful' protest, you don't know that until it happens, some protests that intend to be peaceful end up with trouble- it all depends on who decides to tag along too.

olliegarchy99 · 16/06/2017 07:14

and OP YABVVVU

BigYellowJumper · 16/06/2017 07:15

nerrsnerr so how long is this non-protesting supposed to last?

Because last time I checked, the emergency services weren't going to be getting any more money any time soon.

everthibkyouvebeenconned · 16/06/2017 07:17

I'm looking for ones in the south west and will post as soon as I find them

There's a strange buzzing of poisonous gnats in this thread but ignore...all will be fine

NerrSnerr · 16/06/2017 07:26

Bigyellow I don't know, and I hold my hands up to say I could be wrong. I know police resources shouldn't stop a protest but ultimately it's the police men and women who will get their rest days cancelled again and they'll get the brunt of the anger from the protesters while Mrs May sits unaffected else where.

Sycamorewindmills · 16/06/2017 07:27

I think those getting excited about protesting and marching should be very careful about stirring up riots.

everthibkyouvebeenconned · 16/06/2017 07:27

Buzz buzz

explodingkittens · 16/06/2017 07:29

Loving the poster above trying to claim.the moral high ground because she puts her shit in the bin Grin

I hope your dads appt goes well though. I'm working at Guy's today btw. Small world!

And I've not drunk cider since I was 16, sorry to disappoint the more unimaginative posters on this thread.

OP posts:
BigYellowJumper · 16/06/2017 07:31

nerr Long term, the protests would be better for the police because there would be fewer cuts under Labour.

everthibkyouvebeenconned · 16/06/2017 07:32

Buzz buzz. Riots now buzz buzz

augustusglupe · 16/06/2017 07:33

To remind us??!! Of what?! My daughter and I are off to London for my birthday that weekend...so take your placards and lily Allen and bugger off somewhere else!!

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 16/06/2017 07:34

I think the Tories should have been careful about fucking up the country so people wanted to riot.

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 16/06/2017 07:35

Yes Augustus, your birthday clearly matters more than the future of the country.

BigYellowJumper · 16/06/2017 07:36

Oh.

GUYS STOP THE PROTEST.

AUGUSTUS HAS HER BIRTHDAY THAT WEEKEND.

It's on the following weekend instead, Augustus, don't worry.

Phew, thank God.

NerrSnerr · 16/06/2017 07:38

I 100% agree that the police would be better off under labour but the result of this protest is not going to be another election and TM won't stand down over it so it won't lead to a better work environment for the police.

It's shit and maybe protesting is the right way forward, but the media are fuckers. If it's a peaceful protest they'll ignore it and if there's any sign of trouble however tiny they report how evil the terrible lefties are for being violent/ messy/ vandals. Damned if you do....

Twinkie1 · 16/06/2017 07:38

Will you protest openly and peacefully or wear masks, cover faces with scarves and throw pyrotechnics at the police?
