Regardless of who you voted for I wondered what you predict the result will be?

My guess is 115 seat conservative majority.

Can someone explain the pound thing for me? (Yes I am dim) that usually means they don't like the result doesn't it? What way did they want it to go? Or is it purely because it isn't clear cut?

Hung parliaments are unstable.
Not what May was hoping for.

impossibledreams · 08/06/2017 22:28

A hung parliament prediction will mean a weak infighting government so overseas markets see that and sell sterling, thus weakening the pound and means our economy gets fucked even quicker than if Jeremy does it himself

Runny · 08/06/2017 22:29

We had a hung parliament in 2010.

OliviaPopeRules · 08/06/2017 22:30

GetThrough generally yes but also sometimes it is just not what they are expecting and settles are a period of days/weeks.

Where I am everyone just gasped and asked me 'What the hell is going on?' I told them it's democracy. One person, one vote and one party is appealing to the majority with more money while the other has been taking money away.

People will always vote for the party that they think is going to be the most beneficial for them. The majority of people make less than £80k a year and the Tories did absolutely nothing to explain how the Labour Party plans are not beneficial for those making less than £80k in the long run.

The80sweregreat · 08/06/2017 22:31

A co alition of who though?

OliviaPopeRules · 08/06/2017 22:32

I hope someone does better than predicted (either labour or cons) because I could not face another election or months of no-one getting anything done because at the moment there is not really a viable coalition.

I can't see the SNP losing 22 seats

I can't see the SNP losing 22 seats

nahhhh - it was ONLY 21... Grin

FinallyThroughTheRoof · 09/06/2017 14:00

And allowed Tories in.

Not funny really.

BeyondThePage · 09/06/2017 18:37

And allowed Tories in

ahh, but as a Tory supporter I like to see it as "saved their skin"

Ruth Davidson is a star!
