Regardless of who you voted for I wondered what you predict the result will be?

My guess is 115 seat conservative majority.

Range I think TM's "enough is enough" and promising to take more action (like she's not have plenty of time in the last 7 years either as Home Sec or PM to do that and often voted the same as Corbyn - ie against - several proposed pieces of Labour terror legislation) following London Bridge hit home with a lot of people.

impossibledreams · 08/06/2017 14:32

I do agree Labour would be in power already if David Miliband was leader.

I don't agree he'll be back - he's raking in $600k being President of the IRC in NYC.

LittleLionMansMummy · 08/06/2017 14:58

I wish I'd followed my instinct and not come to mn today. I was happy living in my hung parliament progressive alliance bubble. Damn you all.

squoosh · 08/06/2017 15:01

'I don't agree he'll be back - he's raking in $600k being President of the IRC in NYC.'

Money isn't generally the draw when it comes to politics though. I wouldn't be surprised if he made a return.

dontcallmelen · 08/06/2017 15:02

@littlelion me too I just got told on previous page how stupid I am☹️

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 08/06/2017 15:02

Maybe D Miliband is making his pile now so he can afford to come back to politics. I'd love him to.

squoosh · 08/06/2017 15:03

Mrs Miliband is thinking 'oh fuck, I hope not'.

squoosh · 08/06/2017 15:04

As in Mrs Miliband his mum.

BoysofMelody · 08/06/2017 15:08

Tory majority of 76. Unfortunately.

TheElementsSong · 08/06/2017 15:11

Anybody know if this is real? Grin

Money's not the draw but for sure but he must be over thinking he'd have a hell of a mess to sort out and is it worth it!

Leaderwithsoul · 08/06/2017 15:50

I think some are confusing the question in OP for "What do you want to happen"

GreenHillsOfHome · 08/06/2017 15:51

Tory will win but the whole thing will backfire on TM because they'll also lose some seats to Labour.

Leaderwithsoul · 08/06/2017 15:54

Reading the students are queuing to vote I become more hopeful of a hung parliament

Dogsmom · 08/06/2017 16:00

I think people are expecting the opposite of what they voted for so they're not disappointed, I voted Tory but am expecting Labour to win.

TaliZorahVasNormandy · 08/06/2017 16:00

I dread the idea of that poisonous cow with a drop of power. I'd rather a Tory/Labour coalition and we know what a car crash that would be.

TheRollingCrone · 08/06/2017 16:05

Hung parliament (but in reality Con win)

ForalltheSaints · 08/06/2017 16:06

Labour about 210 seats
Lib Dems gain a few (going say up to 12)
SNP lose maybe 5 or 6 (so 50)
Greens keep Brighton Pavilion
Others hardly any different (23 seats?), making 296

which I think gives the Tories 354 so a majority of 58

ClarkWGriswold · 08/06/2017 16:08

Tory majority by 85 seats. I don't think that the SNP are going to do half as well as they expect in Scotland and quite a few seats may be lost to the Tories.

I am hoping that Labour take enough of a battering that JC is forced to resign by Friday lunchtime. I think it is criminal that excellent politicians such as Yvette Cooper and Hilary Benn have been totally sidelined in the Labour party

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 08/06/2017 16:09

I'm interested in the student vote as well Leader, I wonder why if there are enough to be a game changer as there will only be one way they will vote.

NoLotteryWinYet · 08/06/2017 16:12

I'd like to see a drop in the SNP vote share, I'ld like to see a few Scottish seats taken back from them.

Overall I'm not sure - I know this is the first time my entire family has voted for labour, so on that basis I don't think the tory majority is large. I'm not sure being in Scotland I fully appreciate the effect of the cuts in RUK.

Jupitar · 08/06/2017 16:17

The80sweregreat

That's what that poll is saying...I've never heard of them and thought nothing if it until it was pointed out they got brexit right, they had a 50/50 chance of calling it correct though so who knows. I'm living in hope, I really don't want tories in for another 5 years 😕

I live in the south, in a wealthy area surrounded by Tory voters, my daughter has surprised me in saying they had a vote in class today and 14 voted labour, 2 conservatives, 9 don't knows and 5 split between libs and greens, so I will carry on hoping for a hung parliament at least 😬

fakenamefornow · 08/06/2017 16:22

I think PeetingPan has it right. I predict another GE in 2019 as well.

The80sweregreat · 08/06/2017 16:28

There was something on the guardian website about them. Its a new way of doing polls, more mobile phone based or something.

Y0uCann0tBeSer10us · 08/06/2017 17:46

Conservative majority of 80 seats, with 8-10 in Scotland. Lib dems to lose 2 seats and the UKIP vote to be slashed. I think the SNP will still have the most seats in Scotland, but will be down to about 45.
