Regardless of who you voted for I wondered what you predict the result will be?

My guess is 115 seat conservative majority.

Honestly no idea but will peacefully accept the result whether it's what i want or not.

My area will return a conservative MP, the majority is always massive. They could put a blue rosette on a packet of cornflakes and it would get voted in.

The80sweregreat · 08/06/2017 10:48

I think that the 'strong and stable ' sentence will be spoken again tomorrow outside no 10 around 11pm.
She will put on another set of pearls to see the Queen and then go over to Europe in a few weeks time where they will royaly shaft us all. She might be gone by christmas. Shes
Had her uses, the Tories are ruthless like that.
Politics is a nasty business.
I bet JC stays on though. Rocky days ahead.

Believeitornot · 08/06/2017 10:51

Tory majority of about 100+ seats

I think labour need a battering to get themselves back into shape. Yes I voted for them after thinking long and hard but do I believe that they'd do a good job in power? No.

I really wanted a hung parliament with a new coalition but that won't happen.

ghostyslovesheets · 08/06/2017 10:51

Tory majority of 80

I will be sad but also I think they should deal with the oncoming shit storm that is Brexit and the collapse of public services and the NHS - and they won't be able to blame labour

coconuttella · 08/06/2017 10:57

Tory majority of 105. Similar to 2015, shy Tories giving bigger majority than polls suggest.

All other parties have a miserable night:

Labour completely deflated after their optimism, but their defeat won't be catastrophic enough for JC to go, at least not initially.... he and his momentum friends will hang in there until dragged away!
LDs holding steady with no increase in votes or seats (handful of gains outweighed by handful of losses)
UKIP battered into irrelevance losing almost every deposit.
SNP losing 12-15 seats

coconuttella · 08/06/2017 10:59

& Greens... just too wacky to make any headway outside Brighton.

Cutesbabasmummy · 08/06/2017 11:03

Hung parliament followed by another general election...

RockyTop · 08/06/2017 11:03

Hung parliament

MitzyLeFrouf · 08/06/2017 11:04

'Honestly no idea but will peacefully accept the result whether it's what i want or not.'

I might open a bottle of wine in a thuggish manner but that's all the violence I have planned. Beyond flicking the Vs at the television and any mention of 'strong and stable'.

back2worktoday · 08/06/2017 11:06

I honestly think a hung parliament

coconuttella · 08/06/2017 11:06

An Owen Jones navel gazing piece recognising, if only fleetingly, that calling your political opponents scum and cunts is perhaps not the best form of engagements.

CanIHaveYourNumberCucumber · 08/06/2017 11:10

I wish I lived somewhere that my Labour vote would make a difference. Here, the Conservative seat is almost guaranteed.

I think it'll be an overall Conservative majority.

ghostyslovesheets · 08/06/2017 11:11

Maybe play shots - every time they say 'strong and stable ' you'll be too pissed by 10pm to give a shit !

The80sweregreat · 08/06/2017 11:12

Would the snp go in with labour? I dont think so. I dont think either party want that.
Hung parliamments are always a nightmare.
Seeing the amount that labour need to win , i dont think it can be done.
At least the tories will have to clear up the brexit mess. About the only silver lining maybe?

BillSykesDog · 08/06/2017 11:14

I would like a Tory majority of about 20 so they can't do anything too batshit.

PinguPaws · 08/06/2017 11:14

Heart says labour.
Head says Torys with an 80+ majority seat win.

TheElementsSong · 08/06/2017 11:15

Tory majority 70-100ish.

OohMavis · 08/06/2017 11:16

Tories will increase their majority.

My local MP will sit back with a comfy win despite zero campaigning and doing absolutely nothing for our constituency, if taking people up on free meals in exchange for cutting ribbons doesn't count.

BarbaraofSeville · 08/06/2017 11:18

Having voted this morning I'm confident my seat will return to Labour from Conservative, so that's hopefully one gain in the bag.

Last time Conservative beat Labour by about 0.3% because the Labour vote was weakened by a swing to UKIP. This time there's only candidates from the three main parties standing so most of the UKIP vote should go back to Labour.

WalkingOnLeg0 · 08/06/2017 11:21

So no one actually thinks Labour will win?

harderandharder2breathe · 08/06/2017 11:21

I want a labour majority

I expect a Tory majority
