I was more impressed with him than I was expecting to be but I doubt I'll be voting for him.

Teresa May was pretty poor.

I think he's great.

He came across much better than I expected him to. If I was English I would vote for him after that.

I was really impressed with him too. I'd like to vote for the Lib Dems because of their stance on Brexit, but I thought his performance in tonight's interview was really strong. I'd love for Labour or the Lib Dems to get into power, but I do feel it's more likely for Labour to get in.

I'm a bit worried about Diane Abbot though if Labour do get in. I think she's extremely intelligent and she's done lots of good things for Labour in the past, but she's done Labour no favours in her recent interviews.

I like him.

Only saw a snippet but it was class. When he said, "Oh go on." in an impish way to Paxman. Wish people had seen this side of JC before...!

He did well. Answered the questions, paid attention and focused on what was asked of him.

Came across as genuine. Unlike May who came across as sly.

I don't always agree with his answers btw. But I think he did better than I expected.

He is honest. This is so rare to find in senior politicians, that we as a nation would be really stupid not to elect him.

Abbot is a nightmare, but tories have got plenty of those too, Michael Fallon is a complete idiot, BoJo is horrific and Hunt shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the nhs

Can you explain to me how Theresa May squares off wanting to invest in the skills of British workers and cutting funding (per pupil) for schools? I just don't get it.

Must say that Jeremy came across very well and Theresa not so much in this debate. I think it's all wrapped up for now though. Could have been a different outlook if Jeremy appeared in this manner before (and both had agreed to earlier TV debates)

He is not a terrorist sympathiser, that is a ridiculously childish train of thought!

He simply believes that in order to resolve conflict you need to talk to people you don't agree with and find compromise.

Surely that's real leadership! I'd rather a strong authoritative person like Jeremy Corbyn to negotiate Brexit, a man who clearly has an ability to negotiate with those he doesn't agree, and operate with good humour and honesty under extraordinary pressure from the media. I;d rather him than a weak liar like Teresa May who equates being difficult with strength.

When Paxton asked about leadership and Corbyn said he leads by consensus, why didn't Paxman ask then why don't most of the Labour mps support him? Sadik Khan,who I voted for, avoided him when he got to be mayor of London as did Andy Burnham when he got to be mayor of Manchester. Most of the first Corbyn cabinet left. I would support Labour but not Corbyn.McDonald and Abbott.

Wouldn't guarantee it vinoandbrie. TM looks more and more out of her depth by the day. If she can't handle Paxman, how on earth does she think she's going to manage negotiating with 'Europe'?
