I know she feeds off publicity and the best thing really would be to ignore her until she shrivels and dies of fame starvation so I apologise for the thread but this is really too much now isn't it?

Glad to hear that BertrandRussell

I think it's wholly irresponsible to give her airtime. She's a nobody who has made her name by being offensive and controversial under the guise of 'telling it like it is', and appealing to the lowest common denominator.

findingmyfeet12 · 23/05/2017 11:32

KH is a very intelligent person. I find it difficult to believe that this was bad wording.

Sillysausage123 · 23/05/2017 11:32

Is there any way I can be taken off this thread ?
Genuine question

From WIKI TErf

In England and Wales the Public Order Act 1986 prohibits, by its Part 3, expressions of racial hatred, which is defined as hatred against a group of persons by reason of the group's colour, race, nationality (including citizenship) or ethnic or national origins. Section 18 of the Act says:

A person who uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or displays any written material which is threatening, abusive or insulting, is guilty of an offence if—

        (a) they intends thereby to stir up racial hatred, or

       (b) having regard to all the circumstances racial hatred is likely to be stirred up thereby.

Offences under Part 3 carry a maximum sentence of seven years imprisonment or a fine or both.[6]

The Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 inserted Section 4A into the Public Order Act 1986. That part prohibits anyone from causing alarm or distress. Section 4A states:

(1) A person is guilty of an offence if, with intent to cause a person harassment, alarm or distress, he— (a) uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, or (b) displays any writing, sign or other visible representation which is threatening, abusive or insulting, thereby causing that or another person harassment, alarm or distress.

Really? What other crimes do you think the police should let pass because of Manchester?

Well said Bertrand.

AwaywiththePixies27 · 23/05/2017 11:33

BillSykesDog dont. You'll just end up in the idiots camp with me. Grin

Good job the police haven't got other things like missing children to find! Hmm

nauticant · 23/05/2017 11:33

It sounds like she worded it badly and corrected it straight away.

More like she worded it exactly how she wanted knowing what it referred to and then recalled her recent libel case experiences in the High Court and thought better of it.

Thank you Flip I was struggling to do this on a tablet

AwaywiththePixies27 · 23/05/2017 11:35

Probably. If she's called for the extermination of a group then you could argue it's incitement to violence.

Yes it's probably why she changed it. Although wtf she meant by a 'true solution' instead god only knows. Confused

CostaCoffeeRoyalty · 23/05/2017 11:36

You know this thread is giving it more publicity, right?

AwaywiththePixies27 · 23/05/2017 11:36

sillysausage just press hide and unwatch thread and it should disappear from your 'Im on' list.

kirinm · 23/05/2017 11:37

Utter bullshit to think she didn't word it properly. She's a fucking arsehole. If you bother to look she says, because she's a cunt, that she deleted it because she'd spelt Manchester wrong. Yes, she's changed 'final' to 'true' but she has no intention of apologising for what she's written.

I don't think anyone is naive enough to truly believe she doesn't know what she's saying. Anyone who suggests otherwise is either stupid or being disingenuous.

She's a hateful woman. If you don't see that her words, her inciting hatred against an entire community of people in the wake of a terrible terror attacking where there is a significant risk of reprisals, is something to be strongly condemned than you're an idiot. I can see why the Daily Mail keep her, a nazi supporting paper, but I do not know how she's kept her job at LBC.

SadieTheNurse · 23/05/2017 11:37

What's it got to do with scofield?

Ravenblack · 23/05/2017 11:38

Of course YANBU, but anyone who is more incensed by her tweet and her words, than they are about 22 young people being slaughtered by terrorists needs to SERIOUSLY take a long hard look at themselves!

nauticant · 23/05/2017 11:38

Although wtf she meant by a 'true solution' instead god only knows.

Bollocks. She knows what she meant and anyone who has any understanding of the singular meaning of Final Solution knows what she meant.

I guess you get a little thrill thinking "this will wind them up!" as you post but you're making yourself look really unpleasant here.

The actress who plays Sally's sister in Corrie was on tv this morning - I don't know if anyone saw her, but I wanted to throw something at the tv! I won't say what she said as it made me so angry, that I will probably get a warning on here. Don't know if anyone else saw her.

CrazyExIngenue · 23/05/2017 11:41

Who are these people and where are they? Hmm Because the only people I see are one's with the emotional intelligence to be pissed off about two things at the same time.

SadieTheNurse

After the Westminister Attack Schofield made a show of walking over the bridge to show solidarity / that he's not scared etc. So I think it was a dig at him, and obviously because shes banned from This Morning anyway she's just bitter Wink

PortiaCastis · 23/05/2017 11:43

She's a cunt
End of

AwaywiththePixies27 · 23/05/2017 11:44

Are you for real? Read my post again. I'm pointing out that she didn't regret what she obviously put because the tone of the tweet remains the same, and I'm looking unpleasant? Read my post again, and if you have a problem with my posts click the report button, but make sure you do the same on the other posters who are also saying the same. Good grief. Hmm

BitOutOfPractice · 23/05/2017 11:44

With this woman I veer between thinking "I loathe what you're saying but I defend your right to say it" and wanting to shut her up forever because I loathe what she says.

I do think this crossed a line today though.

Either way she's vile

TrueBlueYorkshire · 23/05/2017 11:45

Katie who?
