if i can be clear back... your outdated way of thinking is ridiculous.

"Back to the 3 day week, unions running the country. The country bankrupt, spend spend spend. "

I'm tempted to make a conversative bingo chart if anymore of these tired cliches keep being spouted off.

deeedeee · 11/05/2017 17:02

labour are nowhere near communist. such utter narrow mindedness, same old same old.

Wishingitwaswarm · 11/05/2017 17:02

What about the other 8 points .... No comment deeedee?

uglyflowers · 11/05/2017 17:08

JC4PM! He gets my vote. All the tax dodging big companies can start to put something back into this country. There's enough wealth, it just isn't being shared - just pumped into off shore tax dodging accounts.

bumbleymummy · 11/05/2017 17:09

I just read it as spending money we don't have and running up more debt. No thanks.

uglyflowers · 11/05/2017 17:10

Labour only look so left wing these days because the Tories are so far to the right.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 11/05/2017 17:15

labour are nowhere near communist. such utter narrow mindedness, same old same old

Could I suggest digging a little deeper into the issues instead of simply flinging insults? I think you might find there are more similarities than perhaps you've realised ...

Everytimeref · 11/05/2017 17:19

Most of the policies are based on what other sucessful EU countries already do.

Obviously it much better that our railways are owned by private companies run by .. oh yes foreign state run companies, than our own government.

Why should our country get the benefit (massive profits) from running water, electricity etc when the French government are happy to take the profits from us in the guise of "private" companies

QuietCorday · 11/05/2017 17:20

America runs perfectly well with trillions of dollars worth of debt.

Apart from the furloughs and federal shut downs, I guess. And apart from the fact that China owns significant amount of US debt, which creates a geostrategic issue and has allowed them to continue to peg their currency to the dollar (be a use they threaten the US with dumping paper every time someone points out that the situation is unbalanced), keeping it artificially low, which then favours their exports against American exports.

deeedeee · 11/05/2017 17:21

i'm not flinging insults, i'm making an observation on the narrowness of the thinking displayed here.

all your points 1-8 are a lot more complicated than the narrowness of your responses to them.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 11/05/2017 17:23

i'm not flinging insults, i'm making an observation on the narrowness of the thinking displayed here.

Well that works both ways and yes you have flung insults tbf.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 11/05/2017 17:25

We all know Labour are not going to win but it has given Corbyn a platform that he never thought he would have and he gets all the media attention he wants to tell us all how great the UK would be if only we were to move to the left it all sounds so nice and fluffy and simply wonderful

Corbyn is looking more confident others around him are looking worried he dismisses talk about Brexit Hmm picks a team that are mainly useless Hmm (he doesn't have much choice) but the the revolution is up and marching and Corbyn is leading it and loving every minute

But the revolutionary march will go nowhere but what does that matter it's being played out on centre stage and to think Labour could have had a chance, a chance to improve people's lives, the chance to have a less harsh Brexit, the chance to really make a difference but we have this fuckkng revolutionary wannabe idiot it makes me fucking rage Angry

ExplodedCloud · 11/05/2017 17:31

Pebble I doubt you're still reading but let me assure you that Conservative legislation is currently making a grab for my pension. Our trustees are being dictated to by the government as to which investments they are allowed to make.

limon · 11/05/2017 17:34

I love it . It puts people first. Tax the richest and it's completely affordabe. Jc4pm

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 11/05/2017 17:36

Tax the richest and it's completely affordabe

Let's see your figures the or are you guessing

WankingMonkey · 11/05/2017 17:55

I just read it as spending money we don't have and running up more debt. No thanks

Well tbf, the Tories are running our debt even higher with their 'austerity measures'. So we have a choice it seems of increasing debt while making people homeless, taking from the disabled and such. Or increasing debt while not making people homeless, taking from the disabled and stuff. Hmm...

Brittbugs80 · 11/05/2017 18:09

Accidental leak was it?! Ok.

He'd actually shit himself if he got in, he hasn't got the substance to back it up. He's already back peddling by renewing Trident after claiming no more nuclear.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 11/05/2017 18:22

Excellent article about the manifesto/Trident issue here: labourlist.org/2017/05/trident-is-in-the-manifesto-now-corbyn-faces-a-major-test-in-how-to-explain-it/

Yet another illustration of why the so-called anti Corbyn media don't actually need to do anything at all, since he's doing it quite well all by himself Hmm

NoLotteryWinYet · 11/05/2017 18:29

Anyone wondering if someone pro trident leaked it to try and force Corbyn's hand, or is it the first time in recorded history he's compromised?

Bluntness100 · 11/05/2017 18:36

I find it very sad that people actually believe he has a cat in hells chance of getting any of those through parliament. Ts such as
Cynical vote grabbing ploy to leak something fake like this.

There is a reason there is no info on how they would pay for this utopia and there is a reason it's leaked and not what they are committing too or in any way official. They are simply trying to manipulate people without ever having to make those manifesto promises. It's appalling.

NoLoveofMine · 11/05/2017 18:41

It's a mixed manifesto. Some is great, some less so. Funding public services, the most deprived, protecting the NHS, welfare state, increasing police numbers, accepting more refugees is all excellent (as is renationalisation in my opinion though I'm not sure their energy proposals would lead to that). What's happening to the NHS and welfare system is horrendous.

However, you have to worry a little about how it'll all be funded. Then again, the Tories are managing to mismanage the economy and get off without much of a challenge on it, and all whilst obliterating public services and causing widespread increases in poverty. Also, the idea of Jeremy Corbyn as Prime Minister isn't a good one. I'm not particularly keen on him personally, I think he's not got the greatest history when it comes to misogyny amongst other things.

I hope Labour have an excellent, centre-left leader one day who can fight them back into power soon.

JustAnotherPoster00 · 11/05/2017 18:58

look at them froth evil evil corbyn

What a stupid remark you do sound childish. Of course he's not evil just a hopeless leader and I couldn't vote for him.

Awww bless, you ok hun? x

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 11/05/2017 19:32

Anyone wondering if someone pro trident leaked it to try and force Corbyn's hand, or is it the first time in recorded history he's compromised?

Nothing for him to compromise on. It is Labour Party policy, whether he likes it or not.

user1471439240 · 11/05/2017 19:53

Our economy is about to enter a period of Stagflation unseen since the mid 70's, that is economic stagnation coupled with runaway inflation.
A period, incidentally when the disastrous Labour government were forced to call in the International Monetary Fund and ask for biggest ever Imf bailout.
It would be unwise for any party to increase Corporation tax and drive away inward investment, Corbyn is determined to take the Uk back to 1974, Nationalise industry and turn out the lights.
The definition of madness is repeating the same thing and expecting different results.
Never again.

SeaWitchly · 11/05/2017 20:03

Can I just say how patronising and disgusting all this talk of "loveliness" " goodies" and " lalaland" is?

It's not fucking sweeties, it's the NHS that all of you and your children were born into, it's your kids schools, it's the police, it's community centres, childcare to allow people to work. It's normal basic stuff of society

stop making what we all grew up enjoying and what other decent countries have as standard into something that's daft to want and pay for with our hard work, luck or privilege.

^This.

I think it's a great manifesto and in one of the richest countries in the world totally do-able.
