Was she coming into him

Friend was talking to guy at work who's really tall. She asked him his height (6'5) then jokingly moaned and said "im only 5'2"... they were pissed, both married, flirtatious?

Dirty floozy, of course she was.

She's probably pregnant now too.

SecretNetter · 04/05/2017 23:56

Don't understand your question tbh

WorraLiberty · 04/05/2017 23:56

Mind you, he'd have to be coming into her for that to happen.

coolaschmoola · 04/05/2017 23:57

Eh? Are you serious? That's a CHAT not flirting!

ImAHastamaker · 04/05/2017 23:57

Sorry I meant coming ONTO him...

I may be being paranoid!

Just can't work out why else you'd say something like that in response?

BloodWorries · 04/05/2017 23:57

No... plenty of people ask tall people how tall they are and openly express they would like to be taller. I'm average height (I think) and wish I was taller, especially when surrounded by taller people.

HildaOg · 04/05/2017 23:58

Not unless you're missing the part where she jiggled her boobs at him and sat on his lap while she said it. Sounds like a perfectly normal, innocent comment.

tallwivglasses · 04/05/2017 23:58

Drunken pissed banter by the sound of it. If you're concerned have a quiet word.

Littlefrogletx · 04/05/2017 23:59

Why the need for paranoia?

SashaSashays · 05/05/2017 00:02

WTF?

BrickInTheWall · 05/05/2017 00:03

I'm also 5'2 and have expressed surprise and wished I was a bit taller when standing next to my friends DH who is 6'3.
She will be most upset when she realises that this was me coming onto him! ShockConfusedBlushHmm

SumThucker · 05/05/2017 00:05

WorraLiberty · 05/05/2017 00:06

I hope you kept your hand on your ha'penny BrickInTheWall.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 05/05/2017 00:08

So 2 people of the opposite gender cannot talk without them wanting to run off together and have each others babies.
Also why are you paranoid. Maybe its me who's the wierdo but. I honestly would not give a shit if my friend had an affair.

IloveBanff · 05/05/2017 00:09

How on earth is that flirting? Confused

JaneJeffer · 05/05/2017 00:11

Bet she will bring a step-ladder to work soon.

RitaMills · 05/05/2017 00:12

On only 5' although I'm happy with my height now I used to want to be taller, 6'5 would be a giant to me and I'd probably ask their height and yes once upon a time I'd have moaned 'really? Gosh I'm only 5' tall' in response. I think I'd have to re evaluate my technique if that was my idea of flirting.

ZilphasHatpin · 05/05/2017 00:13

Fuck. You must spend a lot of time being paranoid!

pangolina · 05/05/2017 00:15

Why do you care? It sounds like normal chat to me

HarveySchlumpfenburger · 05/05/2017 00:15

If saying 'I'm only 5'2"' is coming onto somebody I think I've probably come on to half my work colleagues.

Presumably I'm looking at some sort of tribunal if it goes to HR.

e1y1 · 05/05/2017 00:18

At work? Don't you mean school? What's your question, or more importantly how does it affect you?

FizzyGreenWater · 05/05/2017 00:21

I am crying with laughter here.

How how HOW is this anything other than slightly inane conversation? I've read it several times and I CANNOT work out what possible flirtatious meaning it could have. Even if said in a voice heavy with naughty promise then you'd simply sound like a weirdo surely?

'Ooooh... I'm only 5 feet 2'
😂😂😂

ZilphasHatpin · 05/05/2017 00:24

Just can't work out why else you'd say something like that in response?

You can't work out why someone would respond with their height to someone who had just stated theirs? Really? Could you try really hard?

I mean it's not like she said, "wow I bet your dick is huge too, show me it"

Nettletheelf · 05/05/2017 00:24

Is 'the guy at work' your husband?

If not, you should consider coaching your friend in flirtatious banter. She won't get far in the extra-marital affair business if all she can manage is 'jokingly moaning' and saying how tall she is. Maybe she should try stating her bra size next time.

BeeThirtythree · 05/05/2017 00:25

DH 's height is very deceptive. He seems a lot taller than he actually is. Should I be worried he is flaunting this?
