Well? Both of us nearly 50, marriages of 20, years grown up children.
Both seperated a long time when we met. Got this message tonight
Said WHAT? Called him twice. No answer. My self respect is done
But why?

Wasn't for you.

ADayGivingMeHope · 18/04/2017 17:39

@ChristinaParsons any news

Dionne1707777 · 18/04/2017 17:46

Dying for an update in this!
Far too invested 😫

Tapandgo · 18/04/2017 17:55

Odd

Daydream007 · 18/04/2017 17:59

Do not contact this man again. You deserve better. Move on he is a fool.

RacoonofDoom · 18/04/2017 18:03

Like pulling teeth!

Confused
haveacupoftea · 18/04/2017 18:05

If your texts are anything like your posts on here, he's probably just given up trying to understand what they mean.

Serialweightwatcher · 18/04/2017 18:06

Know I'm too cynical lately but it's only a short sentence to get wrong and the explanations are dragged out in bits and bobs .... Hmm

SherbrookeFosterer · 18/04/2017 18:06

This won't be easy, but a deafening silence on your part is the only answer.

Good lick and I hope you soon meet someone who deserves you.

GattoColorCioccolatto · 18/04/2017 18:07

Cardi made perfect sense to me

Haffiana · 18/04/2017 18:15

This won't be easy, but a deafening silence on your part is the only answer.

I think this sums up this whole thread!

SecretsInSpitalfield · 18/04/2017 18:18

If your texts to him are like your posts on here then I don't blame him! Very strange

InfiniteSheldon · 18/04/2017 18:23

If you're texts to him are as cryptic as your posts he may well have misunderstood something. Use full sentences or just call him and ask him what he meant.

Cleanermaidcook · 18/04/2017 18:25

Sounds like the text wasn't meant for you if he said goodnight 10 mins previously, begs the question if not you then who was it for though, dc? lover?

MrsDoylesTeabags · 18/04/2017 18:26

None of this makes any sense to me!
Argh, I'm done withthis thread x

Smudge100 · 18/04/2017 18:29

A similar thing happened to me after 15 years of marriage at age 56. He denied there was anyone else but after a bit of digging my suspicions proved correct. This message smacks of ' i don't need you any more and i've moved on'. Strangely some people seek to assuage their sense of guilt -if thst's whst they feel - by being deliberately vindictive and hurtful towards their former partner.

NameChangeInCasePeopleRecogn · 18/04/2017 18:29

Have you called him?

Giddyaunt18 · 18/04/2017 18:30

How long were you together? What was your last conversation?

spellbound2014 · 18/04/2017 18:32

Any update?

Xanadu44 · 18/04/2017 18:33

Erm this is very strange, why don't you just ring him??

Ellapaella · 18/04/2017 18:34

Maybe it was an auto correct gone badly wrong?!

SestraClone · 18/04/2017 18:40

This is a weeeeeird thread!

I can see why he might be a bit exasperated with you!

MissyMoooo · 18/04/2017 18:41

Aw come on OP we're dying here waiting for an update!!

HorridHenryrule · 18/04/2017 19:02

She is probably having a nice chat and cuddling up to him now. While we are trying to solve the riddle in this thread.
