To think that it is a genuine possibility that the Sarin attacks have been falsified by the us to legitimise air strikes

As above really...

Have we been totally conditioned by the media to believe that the uk/us are the good guys and Russia are the bad guys. I think the us have form for things like this, does video constitute proof? All just rings a bit of the whole Iraq war thing. Do they just have different agendas in Syria than Russia?

I don't agree with you at all.

I think Assad was the bad guy all along, and the media have been too distracted by the theatrics of ISIS to bother reporting on boring old civil war.

Neither the positions of the U.K., America nor Russia have particularly influenced my view.

No. I think Assad is very capable of doing this and has been allowed to get away with atrocities for so long that he fully expects to get away with this one.

But doesn't it just all seem a bit convenient? I mean one minute trump is saying Syrian regugees have less standing than unborn foetuses and won't accept any to America and the next he is so upset by the war crimes against these people that he decides
To bomb assads government? Doesn't give a shit about all the war crimes over the world (e.g. Congo, Somalia etc) why particularly this government in Syria doing this war crime?

TBH I think a lot of it is Trump swinging his Cock around. Potentially has used Russia to get into power and is now trying to show the world and Russia that the us is nobody's bitch. It's warmongering IMHO

If Assad was innocent he'd have said so immediately and opened up the area to UN investigators.
Of course there is always propaganda etc, but reporters have been relaying instances of abuse like this for some time.
The big worry is that we have nut jobs like a Trump in control of the USA and madcap Boris representing us. Putin hasn't covered himself in glory as regards his foreign and domestic policy. How these imbeciles get to the top of the political ladder and seek to lead us is very worrying.

Lots of scientists (who have no apparent reason to lie) have said if it was Sarin it is chemically impossible for it to be released by a bombing if it was on the ground. It had to be dropped from the air, therefore it has to be Assad (the rebels don't have an air force).

I believe the scientists, not Assad.

I have no idea what's so special about this particular incident meself. It's not the first time Assad has been alleged to have used sarin on his own people either- the same thing happened in Damascus a few years ago. He's also alleged to have bombed a children's hospital IIRC.

The only difference this time is that the US now has a rabid loony for a president.

Sample size from victims have been analysed and sarin or a sarin type chemical confirmed.

Modern communications and monitoring by the US tracked the plane believed to have been responsible.

The above is an abridged version of what's been written by reliable media.

Assad is doing what abusers do, it's like he's gaslighting and then people start doubting and wondering if he's telling the truth and he becomes the sane one and everyone else crazy.

But honestly given the influence the us has over the uk and thus the uk media is it a possibility that we are hearing a very biased story?

I'm not saying Assad is perfect but The US is a v powerful nation with the potential to spin the facts to its advantage/agenda, and therefore should we be questioning the 'facts' that we are being told by the US governent?

The thing is Assad took a week to deny. This is considered to be too long a lapse for a genuinely wrongly accused aggressor.

Unless he confirms it, or evidence to the contrary, the best that anyone can say is that pointing the finger at Assad is "credible". No one has said it was 100% him, just credible.

They said somewhere that Russia bombed the hospital to destroy evidence. It's really hard who to believe, seeing as the US appear to like conflict in the East.

From what I gather, Syria is totally wrecked which is so sad.
