To be annoyed about topless sunbathing?

Topless sunbathing on holiday can be just about tolerated. I, myself, have done it on occasion if the General vibe of the place seems totally laid back about it.
AIBU to be annoyed about the woman next door to me walking around her garden in nothing but a tiny thong with her huge fake boobs out?! I don't want to be looking at her practically naked body when I'm wanting to go into my garden. Plus my DP will get an eyeful of her too which will make me feel a bit shit. And whose to say that the neighbour's on the other side of her house two little boys won't get an eyeful too.
People can do what they want in their own homes and gardens, but here is nothing but a very low fence separating us and she is only about 1 meter away from my living room window Angry

Yanbu. I wouldn't want to see it either. I also don't want to see men topless either though. Usually it's pretty grim.

I would be annoyed, too, fake boobs are just not aesthetic, but there's nothing to be done about it. It's her garden.

Build a bigger fence or look the other way.

If your husband finds her prettier than you, then he has no taste, and that's a problem with him, not her.

This is my issue - it's not even hot and she is wandering around almost naked and bending over in her tiny thong whilst gardening. Even if I put a bigger fence up I can still see right into her garden from my living room window and she knows this as she has chatted to me by the window in the past.
I walk around naked in my house too, and have sunbathed topless abroad. But I wouldn't walk around my overlooked garden with my boobs and ass out as wouldn't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. Maybe I'm more of a prude than I thought judging by the responses

I'm not sure they can. I'm pretty sure there was a case of someone being naked in their house and getting done for exposing themselves.

I'd take the view that I can do what I like and if someone looks into my house or garden, that's their porblem. But apparently not.

However, most gardens are somewhat overlooked so it is a bit silly to wander around with your breasts out. And why anyway? It's not good for the sun to get to them.

Yesterday there were a load of young lads running around the track at my son's athletics club with no shirts on. I mean - why? If they were doing a race they'd have to wear a vest or t-shirt, it's just showing off, not being hot (possibly thinking they are hot in more than one sense).

It doesn't really matter if the young lads the other side see - it's just breasts.

And if your DP will spend his afternoon hanging over the fence slathering , or marching round you kitchen going 'Whoooaaaar! Wayhaaaaay!' then your problems are closer to home than your neighbours garden.

Isn't this the real issue? You shouldn't measure your self-worth against another woman's looks. Since they are only implants anyway, you could get them too if you wanted the same look. But I wouldn't do it out of insecurity.

YABU its just tits, and she's in her own garden. Your DP is a grown man and can avert his eyes if he wants too and the other neighbours' children aren't going to be psychologically damaged by seeing boobs.

Hardly, she's in her own garden. I don't believe you can " live in fear" of seeing someone with no top half on.

More a matter of taste ( fake boobs and thong) and everyone knows you can scoff at bad taste.

Well if that is OK for you to go away on hols where women might be topless and for yoUr DP to get an eye full and for your dcs to actually see boobs, then there is no reason why this should be an issue with your neighbours.

It's not an issue about being prude.
If you are prude, you are prude everywhere, not just at home.

No, it is not just breasts, it is fake boobs.I'd be a bit worried about what that teaches the children. Especially if this is the only woman they see topless, which is rather likely in the UK.
(Would be more worried about girls, though.)

Whatever you think about the tastefulness or otherwise of toplessness in gardens, women definitely don't have a particular responsibility to conceal their breasts from married men.
