Wjats the diffrence between mumsnet and netmums??

I didn't know that people went there during Jeffery.

For the uninitiated Jeffery was a young man with a very expensive education who thought it a wizard wheeze to bring down MN and boast about it on twitter. He then sent Swat teams to Justine's house and that of an MNer who confronted him.
He lived in his mum's spare room.

He wasn't really called Jeffery.

Because if I threatened to patio my DH on NetMums, they'd call the police.

On MN I'd get a glass of wine and a help with the shovelling.

I can't stand the text speak, or the fact that you have to agree with the OP no matter how ridiculous they're being - and I'm not exclusively referring to that obvious troll on both who NM were very keen on defending

I do have a browse sometimes, but there's no real debate. I disagree with the Mumsnet "hive mind" on a lot of things, but in general people here seem to be well educated: I don't mean that they've been to university or are high achievers, but a lot of posters here obviously know their stuff about topics they're passionate about.

I used to be a nethun before moving to mn (sorry I will go take a hard look at myself after this post ). I posted in nm mental health whilst going through a particularly bad period. They closed the thread and told me off for opening a duplicate user. I just didn't want the post linked to my other account. Didn't even give me any advice, that was it. I left after mumsnet invaded nethuns during a period where I think mumsnet must have gone down. The thread over there mumsnet users created to meet up was hilarious so I joined here instead. So much better and no way near as bloody cliquey.
