Wjats the diffrence between mumsnet and netmums??

The people who are on Netmums in my experience are younger, less educated and like glitter, sparkles and "hun".

Here is more educated, more intelligent, less "you're babee you're rulez, hunny"

On Netmuns Younique is seen as an excellent business opportunity for mums and allowed to advertise.

On MN it is multi-level marketing and the spawn of satan.

There used to be a marked social divide, when MN was smaller.

Now, it's much of a muchness with marginally less 'hunning' on here.

I posted on Netmums once in a desperate state (possible termination), my God the JUDGING. I mean it's not like judging here where people rudely, openly judge you and tell you you're a cunt which, frankly, I much prefer. No, this was insidious judging such as "well if you can live with yourself" or "have you considered reading the Bible" and "perhaps you should stop being so selfish and consider childless couples". That sort of thing. It was the very last thing I needed to hear at that time and I immediately closed my account and never went back. Here, if I've needed help, I've got it, no questions asked. Much better

Tapandgo a ticker is some sparkly shit banner thing at the bottom of the page showing the ages of your yet to be conceived/unborn child/newborn child/toddler/tweenager/teenager/adult child I think they also count how many days to your holiday to Disneyworld Butlins/Pontins/LEGOLAND etc

Oh and the spelling is different over here, its a bit like being American (any other forriner) in the UK. It sort of looks the same and sort of sounds the same but its very very different
