Elquinto, pics or it didn't happen Wink

Unicorn81 · 30/03/2017 21:13

You arent allowed to swear over there? Fuck that for a game o soldiers

WhiskeySourpuss · 30/03/2017 21:14

@RebelRogue there's no calling out trolls on Netmums you have to leave them to dwell under their bridge

Another thing is the way they tell you off for swearing FFS I'm 38 the only person who tells me off for swearing is my mother

WhiskeySourpuss · 30/03/2017 21:16

Unicorn it stars out the swear words but there are ways to bypass the filter again not that I did such things

Freshprincess · 30/03/2017 21:16

You're not allowed to swear on most forums I've ever been on. It's more unusual to swear.

RebelRogue · 30/03/2017 21:17

Unicorn nope, i think even ass gets starred. And some other innocent words too.
The made up Mumsnet ones do go through,as does dickbutt but then you get told off for bypassing the swearing filter GrinGrin

RoboticSealpup · 30/03/2017 21:20

It's really hard to read the NM forums because their users can't spell or write properly. That's the difference.

PacificDogwod · 30/03/2017 21:22

Horses for courses

I prefer it here because I have to very, very diplomatic day to day and that does not come naturally to me.

Here, I can call a spade a big fat fucking shovel! Grin

drinkswineoutofamug · 30/03/2017 21:22

Got banned from netmums for asking if someone who was going to jail wasn't allowed to pass go or collect £200.
Seriously no sense of humour?
Now got a permanent ban for having a proxy account or some bollocks

welcometowonderland · 30/03/2017 21:23

I just ventured over there for a nose. Good grief Grin

It's full of these : !!!!!!!!!!
And full of these : "OMG." "Hun." "simples!"

Never again.

WhiskeySourpuss · 30/03/2017 21:23

Robotic this is very true and your not aloud 2 point it out even if it's horendus Grin

Freshprincess · 30/03/2017 21:24

Also, it's not the first point of call for Fail journos wanting an easy story, so you could probably post about your penis beaker without the whole world knowing About it.

Tapandgo · 30/03/2017 21:24

mrsEva ........thank you......think I'll stick to mumsnet

IvyLeagueUnderTheSea · 30/03/2017 21:28

ino ino i need to calm down hahaha

Off you pop dear.

Mummyoflittledragon · 30/03/2017 21:29

Far more wisdom on this site. Wisdom comes with age, I suppose as already pointed out, it is a younger and can be less well educated demographic. I find Netmums rather sickly sweet and false.

IvyLeagueUnderTheSea · 30/03/2017 21:34

MN is a bunch of cunts and will quite happily tell you so.

Dontactlikeyouknowme · 30/03/2017 21:37

Netmums users don't tend to start threads about Mumsnet over there so they can feel superior.

SomeDyke · 30/03/2017 21:38

"the whack jobs that suggested the dinosaurs weren't real but aliens are"
What, no alien dinosaurs, how specist (species-ist? How do you spell it before the MN spelling police come and take me way..........).

Plus this thread just made me laugh out loud (a rare occurrence). I needed that. Thanks you bunch of cunts! Smile

RebelRogue · 30/03/2017 21:40

The "tied up during csection in x and y country" was awesome. Guess t a very great d friend from that one.

TomaytoTomahto · 30/03/2017 21:40

NM posters judge you in a roundabout "if you think that's best hun x" way whereas MN posters will tell you you're shit and that you should get over yourself.

HarryPottersMagicWand · 30/03/2017 21:42

I'm not the most educated person in the world but I think Nethuns are the type of people who have mummy business's and the like on Facebook. You know, the ones who make godawful hampers of everything and charge stupid money for it, then other Nethunners buy it.

I used to prefer their local pages, but couldn't find much recently. I don't like the talk boards because they are far too fussy and it's hard work to try and decipher what the hell they are actually saying.

TheyDoItOnPurposeLynne · 30/03/2017 21:44

The "serious stuff" board on Netmums is sobering reading. The amount of denial there is shocking. And the advice is even more disturbing. Dunno how heavily moderated that board is but there was a thread which basically gave advice on how to pull the wool over your social worker's eyes. Eeek......Shock

2017SoFarSoGood · 30/03/2017 21:47

Dear god all this gratuitous swearing.

Can I just say I *($$_)(@&%(&(%&#&% LOVE it?. This is my happy place :)

as you were people, as you were

LittleMissFreedom · 30/03/2017 21:50

I started out on nethuns and then heard about the AIBU board on mumsnet (think it was probably on there actually)

I thought ooh that sounds interesting I will have a look, and I was like wow I love this fucking place!

I've had my arse given to me on a plate when I deserved it, and equally they made me see about emotional abuse. Whereas Nethuns tell you to stay together (I've found in the past) here people are honest and will say it how it is. They are also the most supportive people here when you need them.

I love you mumsnet in glittery sparkly ticker

MrsMarigold · 30/03/2017 21:52

Christ shocked about that TheyDoItOnPurposeLynne. I have to say, I saw someone I know to have an unhealthy interest in little girls, advertising on there in the local pages. I feel quite sick when I think of it, but have no actual evidence.
