It's 13 degrees!!!! Someone on my snapchat is having a bbq.

I went food shopping yesterday and so many people were buying bbq food, drinks, ice etc.

It's lovely clear skies ... but it's not hot! Surprised I've not yet seen men walking around without their tops on yet.

I saw a man with no shirt on yesterday. Complete with a pair of shorts and flip flops.

I shivered on his behalf Grin

Ginmakesitallok · 26/03/2017 16:45

It's beautiful outside today! Considering how bad our last few summers have been I think they are wise to take advantage!

Sleeperandthespindle · 26/03/2017 16:46

We're having a BBQ. Been gardening all afternoon. We'll eat indoors though!

Why does it bother you?

HurricanePlait · 26/03/2017 16:46

It's beautiful but still cold!

?

What hot weather? I'm still out in a scarf and big coat!

trinity0097 · 26/03/2017 16:46

It's sunny, but it's not mega hot, there is a fresh breeze and it got up to about 15 degrees.

SparkleTwinkleGoldGlitter · 26/03/2017 16:46

It's been hot enough to sit in the garden a few hours and we used the BBQ in the week, but did bring the stuff inside once cooked.

gamerchick · 26/03/2017 16:47

Have to make the most of any scraps flung man. Could be snowing or something tomorrow. Grin

HurricanePlait · 26/03/2017 16:48

What's the point though?

A bbq is something to enjoy outside.

ClarkWGriswold · 26/03/2017 16:48

You're right! I'm bloody freezing! Mind you I am recovering from the flu

Imstickingwiththisone · 26/03/2017 16:48

If you're in the sun it feels much warmer than 12c. And my phone reckoned it was 17c near us so maybe we are more justified here.

I like to see people make the most of things, be that the weather or something else. Nowt worse than a misery guts.

angeldiver · 26/03/2017 16:49

I saw a man with no shirt on yesterday, in his defense, he was fell running.
My dd is in shorts and vest Shock but she is a northern girl Grin

SparkleTwinkleGoldGlitter · 26/03/2017 16:49

I like the taste of BBQ food so for me it isn't about being outside

Whisky2014 · 26/03/2017 16:50

Temo around here said 12 but was 16 in our garden. Partner currently getting our swimming pool ready and ive been sunbathing all day.
I dont see the issue if people want to enjoy it?

HurricanePlait · 26/03/2017 16:51

Nowt worse than a misery guts.

Maybe I should put on my bikini and walk bare foot to the corner shop

OP posts:
Crankycunt · 26/03/2017 16:51

It happens because the weather here is so unpredictable. A hint of heat and boom it's bbq time.

Whisky2014 · 26/03/2017 16:51

And yy to bbq food. Id have it everyday if i could!

HurricanePlait · 26/03/2017 16:52

Swimming pool in 16C? Confused how odd

OP posts:
LooksBetterWithAFilter · 26/03/2017 16:52

I'm in the highlands and it was 19 degrees here a litttle while ago. Even 13 degrees can feel warm especially after going from cold to warm so quickly. It's interpretation isn't it. Friends in NZ right now are being told by family 20 degrees is cold but for our friends used to uk weather it's roasting.
We had a rubbish summer it feels like such a long time since we have seen any sun worth talking about so I can see the appeal of a barbecue if I'm honest.

Crowdblundering · 26/03/2017 16:52

It was 18.5 here yday....

Whisky2014 · 26/03/2017 16:52

Why so grumpy OP? Its suunnnyyy!

Whisky2014 · 26/03/2017 16:53

Why is that odd?!

Poorlybabysickday · 26/03/2017 16:53

My two toddlers have been in the paddling pool all day!

iamavodkadrinker · 26/03/2017 16:54

Why do you give a shit?

treaclesoda · 26/03/2017 16:54

It was quite warm in my garden today. And i live in a part of the UK that is rarely warm, even in summer.
