It's 13 degrees!!!! Someone on my snapchat is having a bbq.

I went food shopping yesterday and so many people were buying bbq food, drinks, ice etc.

It's lovely clear skies ... but it's not hot! Surprised I've not yet seen men walking around without their tops on yet.

My God. It was 27 here in Australia today (its night now) and people were chatting about how Autumn's in the air! Grin I must admit that I'm longing for it though!

Cariadity · 26/03/2017 16:55

I saw 2 different men driving topless yesterday and went to a BBQ with a hot tub last night. It was stupidly cold and everyone ended up inside after about half an hour, except 2 lunatics that sat in the hot tub all night afraid to get out into the cold!

Astro55 · 26/03/2017 16:56

It's lively and warm - I've been in the garden and walked in the beach - taken the kids ice lollies as they are all hot playing football in the park !!

It's warmer outside than in!! Go get some fresh air !

Maybe I should put on my bikini and walk bare foot to the corner shop
Grin

Herschellmum · 26/03/2017 16:58

Car showed 19.5 yesterday, I'd say it's fairly warm really, considering how cold it's been, I think the fact it's been low single figures recently makes high teens seem much warmed. We have spent the weekend doing the garden and if I had a BBQ probably would have had a BBQ too.

I feel in need of some vitamins d!

LoveMyLittleSuperhero · 26/03/2017 16:58

My DP's sat here in just his shorts. I've had all the windows open all day too. Plus if he wasn't working tonight we would be having a BBQ Grin but then I'm northern

I had a good old giggle with a neighbour earlier because someone waddled past us in about twenty layers including scarf and wooly hat! HmmGrin

isittheholidaysyet · 26/03/2017 16:59

This is as good as summer gets some years, and it's only March.

It's not warm, but it's bright and clear. Use it, before it goes.

And its warm enough for kids to have water fights (kids are idiots) and for grown-ups to water shorts if doing physical work like gardening, outside.

And who are you exactly to give out your orders?

Whisky2014 · 26/03/2017 16:59

Yeh, this is the first weekend in our new house that we have been able to be outside in our garden and enjoy it. Im still outside and its fantastic. Birds singing and barely a whisper of wind. Bliss!

anyoldname76 · 26/03/2017 17:01

we had a bbq yesterday . its warm in the sun, its only the breeze thats chilly.

ShoutOutToMyEx · 26/03/2017 17:01

It's so sunny here but I'm shivering (south London). But yes, I can smell that someone's having a BBQ close by Grin you have to admire their determination!

ghostyslovesheets · 26/03/2017 17:02

it's lovely here - warm and sunny - just like your personality OP Grin

derxa · 26/03/2017 17:02

And who are you exactly to give out your orders? Grin You're in a right bad mood OP. Go in and have a lie down in a darkened room.

HurricanePlait · 26/03/2017 17:03

I'll go get some fresh air when I'm in the south of France on Tuesday thanks Astro

failingatlife · 26/03/2017 17:04

Plenty of people in light clothes but not seen any bare chested men yet!

Whisky2014 · 26/03/2017 17:04

Oh i love South of France. Parents live there. Where about are you going OP?

Trills · 26/03/2017 17:06

I went to a BBQ on bonfire night.

Cooking outside, play with some sparklers, go inside to eat.

treaclesoda · 26/03/2017 17:06

This thread is mad. It's just weather. Confused

Figureof80 · 26/03/2017 17:06

I live in Argyll and while driving car said outside temp was 19degC. Got home and garden weather station sensor said temp was 22degC. Definitely hot enough to enjoy the sitooterie.

Pilgit · 26/03/2017 17:06

I've been on the deck enjoying being on my outdoor sofa all afternoon. We had a bbq too! But we do have zero deck that gets direct sunlight all day and it was lovely and warm. Why do you care?

iamavodkadrinker · 26/03/2017 17:07

OP is either a troll or simply a bellend.

FloAndTheLaptop · 26/03/2017 17:07

OMG what a miserable OP --and rude to boot.

Since when are BBQ for heat waves? Cooking outside is an ancient practice. Have not been invited to said BBQ?
