I'm one of the 40k I voted against corbyn desperate to salvage a party that might at least be decent opposition but he's making sure there is no effective opposition so I'm in arrears on my membership. I no longer feel I can identify with the party or its views.

TheDay that's not even a comment that has the faintest relation to reality, though, is it? Really? Honestly?

tobee · 22/03/2017 13:06

NoLottery yes that's much better!Smile

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 22/03/2017 13:08

Principled Hmm

What by appearing on Iranian State Television for a nice fee, inviting two convicted IRA terrorists to parliament weeks after the Brighton bombing that intended to destroy our democracy while those still suffering sat in parliament, ignored one of his own mp's being heckled at a press conference and her being visibly upset then arranged to text the man on the way out, sharing platforms with those who want Israel destroyed, having friends such as Hamas and Hezbollah

He isn't principled as we were reminded once again in his statement yesterday regarding Martin Mcguinness

And what had he done about his old friend Ken Livingston who no doubt shall be invited back into the fold soon

MP's certainly shouldn't get behind him they should work towards what is best for the public having such a useless leader does nothing for voters

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 22/03/2017 13:11

Do you really think someone who openly supported the IRA (yesterday reminded us of how strongly people still feel about the IRA) before the ceasefire and who openly wants to engage with Islamic terrorists who's intention is to destroy Israel will ever be voted as PM

It just won't happen and should never happen

TheDayIBroke · 22/03/2017 13:12

It's such a shame that there is such little loyalty here to the Party and its leader. He was elected to lead it by its members, who obviously saw he is a good man. So what's changed?

Whatever our differences, stick by him. You have to trust him. Poor man Sad.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 22/03/2017 13:14

Loyalty

Hilarious are you not aware of Corbyn's lack of loyalty

tobee · 22/03/2017 13:14

Here, here! Enthusiasm

tobee · 22/03/2017 13:16

TheDay why? Why do we have to trust him? Why is he a poor man? He's got no-one to blame but himself and his pathetic vanity.

TheDayIBroke · 22/03/2017 13:16

Okay, he supported the IRA. I'm not too chuffed about that, but he's never hidden that, has he?

I'd choose him over Blair any day.

Tobee yes, he CAN lead Labour to power! And he will.

TheDayIBroke · 22/03/2017 13:17

Tobee trust him because he leads the Labour party. He was elected to do so, and cannot do it well without your support.

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 22/03/2017 13:18

It's such a shame that there is such little loyalty here to the Party and its leader. He was elected to lead it by its members, who obviously saw he is a good man.

Elected by some members and some entriests and a lot of help from Lansman and Momentum.

He was never loyal. Pity he didn't show this to the party and leaders in the past.

So what's changed?

Never voted for him. Would have rather had anyone but him.

Whatever our differences, stick by him

No sorry

you have to trust him, poor man

Seriously Hmm I'm sure he'll cope and I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him.

TheDayIBroke · 22/03/2017 13:19

Enthusiasm if his "lack of loyalty" was such an issue, how come he got the votes to make him leader?

PigletWasPoohsFriend · 22/03/2017 13:20

Okay, he supported the IRA. I'm not too chuffed about that, but he's never hidden that, has he?

Yeah well as someone who's family was affected by the actions of IRA not that simple is it.

Let's not also forget Hamas either.

ADedicatedFollower · 22/03/2017 13:23

He's kind of horrible behind a bland beekeeper facade.

ADedicatedFollower · 22/03/2017 13:24

I am not a member just usually vote Labour.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 22/03/2017 13:24

Yes he has tried to hide it or change his story

He was opposed the the peace talks as the agenda had to change he wouldn't Hmm

Please at least read up about Corbyn and McDonnell

There isn't a chance in hell he will win one the Tories are way ahead in the polls secondly the right wing press haven't even started their attack on Corbyn they simply haven't needed to

TheDayIBroke · 22/03/2017 13:24

What I'm saying is: Corbyn hasn't hidden his support for hamas, IRA etc. He's been very open and honest about it.

Rather have someone who is honest, no matter how repellent we find it, than someone who speaks with a forked tongue.

Piglet Flowers

JessicaEccles · 22/03/2017 13:25

I am totally despondent. I can't see Corbyn ever leaving - and if he did, his acolytes would destroy the party even more. When people are seriously talking about losing the next two elections to get the left wing party they want Sad
I have serious health problem s . if the NHS is stripped back even more I won't live that long.

NoLotteryWinYet · 22/03/2017 13:26

so you'd rather have had Corbyn, than Blair who signed the Good Friday agreement? Wow!

tobee · 22/03/2017 13:26

TheDay I don't think my support or otherwise is going to effect Corbyn's competence in the slightest. Excusing his support for the IRA just lost you any vestige of credibility - not chuffed for god's sake! Seriously? Stop going on about Blair! What's he actually got to do with it? Seriously "he will lead us into power"??? Meanwhile, back in the real world....

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 22/03/2017 13:26

Because he appeals to the left of the party who hate that Blair won three consecutive elections

And would rather stay on as a weak and poor opposition than be in government

TheDayIBroke · 22/03/2017 13:26

Enthusiasm I shall read some more on them, thank you.

I didn't realise he was opposed to the peace talks. Sad

NoLotteryWinYet · 22/03/2017 13:27

i don't think our choices are forked tongue or someone who thinks he can negotiate with terrorists personally. I'll vote for none of the above...

TheDayIBroke · 22/03/2017 13:33

Then WHO is there who can lead Labour?

tobee · 22/03/2017 13:34

TheDay I don't mean to be patronising but I hope you're young and impressionable. Mind you my ds is 17 and his a coruscating political brain.
