I'm fairly new to mn and totally love it! Wondering what have been the best threads ever so that I can look them up and possibly explode with joy! Grin

OP posts:
GinAndTunic · 01/03/2017 20:43

"Paul the Pigeon" and "My Husband Ate Fatballs" are my favourites.

lasttimeround · 01/03/2017 20:43

This www.mumsnet.com/Talk/mumsnet_classics/576025-help-ds1-has-made-a-large-clay-cock

I still read it when I need a laugh

eddielizzard · 01/03/2017 20:47

the penguin bollard one. hilarious!

PageStillNotFound404 · 01/03/2017 20:49

Paul the Pigeon is probably my alltime favourite, although run a close second by the Peter Andre 'Love Bus to Crealy'. Then there was TripAdvisor reviews (in Classics - I once made the mistake of reading that late at night while suffering from insomnia, and woke DH up because I was laughing so much) and Lemon Drizzle Bitch.

Lynnm63 · 01/03/2017 20:49

Brian from Hull yoni massage. I missed that 'live' but it made me laugh, it's in classics but I don't know how to link it.

Nocabbageinmyeye · 01/03/2017 20:49

Poo pouffe is so funny

The one where the op unintentiinally answered her own thread three years later, its short but hilarious

Mexican house thief

The really lovely but very sad thread about the lovely op who fostered a drug addicted baby, I cried, people say they cry reading threads and I never believe them but that thread really got to me and I often think of the op

CaveMum · 01/03/2017 20:51

Just go to Classics and start working your way through!

Personal favs include the already mentioned:

Elderly Korean Lady
Mexican House Thief
Gluezilla

Plus (don't think it's been mentioned) Jesus in my Fridge.

There was also one about embarrassing moments that included a MNer who had been on a flume at a swimming pool, shot out the end like a champagne cork hitting the side of the pool and cracking a few tiles! She was unhurt but utterly mortified.

Lynnm63 · 01/03/2017 20:51

I did find the recently revived zombie thread that inadvertently outed Artanco's disappearing children and other conflicting posts was really funny but MNHQ deleted it spoilsports.

sum1killthepawpatrollers · 01/03/2017 20:52

yes, the drug addicted baby. cried my goddamn eyes out with that one, especially the most recent updates

PageStillNotFound404 · 01/03/2017 20:56

Was Jesus in my Fridge the one with the OP who thought her fridge had found religion, or something else? The one I remember was hilarious, mainly because the OP had a very witty turn of phrase.

PatMullins · 01/03/2017 20:57

Pram lady answering her own post years later gets me every time.

It's a shame potential golden threads like those mentioned won't be around much for fear of them being lifted and plastered across the fail.

Penis beaker anyone? Crock of shite that it was

fannydaggerz · 01/03/2017 20:58

Fanny condensation was the best thread.

FrizzyTizzy · 01/03/2017 20:58

"Is Voldemort a virgin?" -one of my all time favourites Grin

HappyFlappy · 01/03/2017 20:58

Just read the film "-ing" one- these ideas are amazing!

Peeing myself laughing here. Grin Grin Grin

Gobletofgin · 01/03/2017 20:58

It doesn't sound funny but the one about the funniest things that have happened at funerals made me laugh a lot

bananamonkey · 01/03/2017 20:59

Another vote for Balonz, just thinking about it makes me hysterical

AnyFucker · 01/03/2017 21:00

Sexual technics

PageStillNotFound404 · 01/03/2017 21:01

I just AS-ed and Love Bus to Crealy is STILL HERE! Grin Grin Grin I remember it as a Chat thread so assumed it was zapped - didn't realise it had ended up in Sleb Twaddle.

Love Bus to Crealy aka Shopping for Carbs With Claire

ijustwannadance · 01/03/2017 21:02

T-Rexing in asda

Nocabbageinmyeye · 01/03/2017 21:03

sum1killthepawpatrollers Sad it is so so sad, I read that like a book, I was glued all night, I remember being awake and crying at about 4am but not being able to stop reading, such a lady

Highmaintenancefemalestuff · 01/03/2017 21:04

I'm fairly new and thought I would have a read through classics, I loved elderly Korean lady and a car parked outside my house for 83 hours - something along them lines.
They are the only ones I've read from classics so far but looking forward to reading more.

Mysteriouscurle · 01/03/2017 21:06

Mexican house thief was just WOW
There was a thread where the op was asking about something very mundane like taking in a parcel and casually mentioned that her dh was in the garden having willy off with the neighbours. Countless posters tried to guess what willy off was auto correct for to no avail and sadly the op never came back but there were some very funny guesses.
Also I quite like overheard on the bus
There was also a very outrageous liftzilla thread but I think it was embellished too much and may have been deleted

PageStillNotFound404 · 01/03/2017 21:06

I think the addicted baby fostering thread is the most emotional thread I've ever read on here. I read the end of it with tears pouring down my face.

usualmum · 01/03/2017 21:07

I have to say I have never found thr mexican house thief one..despite looking several times..Confused
