I'm fairly new to mn and totally love it! Wondering what have been the best threads ever so that I can look them up and possibly explode with joy! Grin

OP posts:
JaceLancs · 01/03/2017 22:09

My favourite was in style and beauty about some clarks monstrosity involving sandals with a sheepskin sock insert

PageStillNotFound404 · 01/03/2017 22:11

"I'm Angela Hernandez" was a good one too.

CoffeeWithMyOxygen · 01/03/2017 22:11

Has anyone mentioned the sex lube and a fish slice thread yet? I laughed til I cried!

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 01/03/2017 22:18

My favourite was Honeydragon literally twatting a spider to death. I had avoided it for two days huffing to myself about misuse of the word 'literally', but it kept popping up in Active so I clicked on it and discovered that actually, she had twatted a spider to death. Grin

shatteredmama · 01/03/2017 22:18

Yoni (Vaginal) Massage. Pissed myself laughing at that one

Janet80 · 01/03/2017 22:21

I'm going to have to look some of these up!

TheWayYouLookTonight · 01/03/2017 22:25

I'm pretty new but I absolutely loved the Cuntaline and Nicholarse ones (I believe it was more than one thread in the end)

BoopTheSnoot · 01/03/2017 22:32

The one about the worst dinner parties ever had me in stitches. I think it's in classics.

KarmaKit · 01/03/2017 22:34

Ooh a recent one about things you've found whilst renovating a house. It was really interesting, people had found all sorts of things. And then someone said "a bucket full of poo and a sausage" It was so unexpected next to all the "beautiful vintage wallpaper in the nursery" I couldn't stop laughing!

startwig1982 · 01/03/2017 22:34

Paul the pigeon
The fat ball
The neighbours swimming in the pool
Korean back garden lady
Best bits of childbirth

SpikeWithoutASoul · 01/03/2017 22:45

A couple of years ago there was a thread where people posted photos of the ugliest thing in their house. Doesn't sound much, but it had me in stitches. Mners own some ugly shit!

Katedotness1963 · 01/03/2017 22:46

Mexican house thief
Penguin bollards
Korean lady
The illegal car parking/dogging site
And, I feel a bit ashamed of this but, in classics there's a thread about getting caught short. I found it hilarious, had to read a couple of posts, laugh till I cried, get up and walk about till I calmed down, then start reading again, repeat.... The worst bit about it is I'm still worried that karma is going to get me for laughing at others bad times. Shock

KC225 · 01/03/2017 23:09

Geese are bastards

Janey50 · 02/03/2017 01:10

The one about the 'show flannel'. The phrase 'long wicker cock basket' made me lol.Grin

Kpo58 · 02/03/2017 01:23

The you must microwave your dog one (which sadly was deleted was the best thread ever)

BadLad · 02/03/2017 02:35

Mumsnet Top Trumps

ohfourfoxache · 02/03/2017 04:18

Missing toaster- just brilliant Grin

eddielizzard · 02/03/2017 06:28

can anyone link to the missing toaster thread please?

talidinozzo · 02/03/2017 06:44

Mexican house thief is one of my two all time favourite tales on here. The other is the very fluffy bundle which I cry laughing at no matter how many times I read it!

CaveMum · 02/03/2017 10:16

This thread currently running in AIBU has the makings of a Classic (similar vein to Gluezilla!)

People looking for the various threads mentioned:

Thanks to the wonders of Google, if you Google 'mumsnet missing toaster' 'mumsnet Mexican House' 'mumsnet t rex' 'mumsnet show flannel' etc, 9 times out of ten the first returned result will be the thread in question. Magic.

GummyGoddess · 02/03/2017 14:31

Husband drying himself with a hairdryer is one I loved that I don't think has been mentioned yet.

TidyDancer · 02/03/2017 18:14

I'm the OP from the Gluezilla threads, am Blush at the mentions - thank you! There's now a mini glue (I keep gluezilla on Facebook for the fun of it!). Have also seen her dad in the street but still not her. No desire to have that conversation (although will obviously MN the whole thing if I do!).

eddielizzard · 02/03/2017 19:21

ha greenroom - didn't think of that! google's search mechanism is way better than mums net's not hard
