MN clique

I'm a regular poster, and have name changed for this.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be a clique here? Some people's posts always get answered and they seem like a happy friendly little group. If you're 'new' or haven't posted that much, you pretty much get ignored.

I enjoy reading the posts, and I enjoy posting, but this 'exclusivity' is really getting to me. This is supposed to be a place people can come with their problems/jokes etc, and to feel like some people are 'left out' kinda defeats the object IMHO.

I have only ever had pm how are you type ones...

Hope the ignore certain posters was a joke.

Come to think of it I have actually PM'd someone and suggested that they ignore a poster .

But it was only because she was going through a seriously rough time and the person seemed to be having fun giving her dogs abuse.

There was no conspiring, though, it was just an offer of support.

Foxy I think there are Facebook groups about with Mumsnet groups on so I can believe that! I know a few discussed something before.

I've never really been bothered by it all though. Just strangers online, although some do value their status it's a bit like school. Although on here most people don't give a shit like at school ha.

It is ghosty, don't worry. No one has got time for that foolishness (channels the RHOA)

fun yes I forgot I joined in on a what's app one once. And removed myself quite quickly as I realised it was to close to real life for me. Same with an fb one to.

I really am boggling at all the talk of possible PMs where posters instruct others about who they have to ignore.

I've seen a few names that seem to be on whatever the time of day and 'well known ' but usually just seems to be a time of day thing. I don't understand name changeing , there's always going to be people that are in forums all day and forge friendships but this seems to be few and far between considering how huge mn is.

Some of the sexperts in the Sex Topic are v scary. I have chosen to ignore the whole topic.

If it's a pm that says ignore poster x. She's being nasty type thing that's different. But if it's to say ignore poster x just to be horrible then that's pretty bad. And the people who do ignore when told to are just as bad as the person who posted the pm. Adults talk to who they choose to.
