I'm a regular poster, and have name changed for this.

Is it just me, or does there seem to be a clique here? Some people's posts always get answered and they seem like a happy friendly little group. If you're 'new' or haven't posted that much, you pretty much get ignored.

I enjoy reading the posts, and I enjoy posting, but this 'exclusivity' is really getting to me. This is supposed to be a place people can come with their problems/jokes etc, and to feel like some people are 'left out' kinda defeats the object IMHO.

There was a well known poster who made loads of threads. She got lots of support and people agreeing with her and saying how much they liked her.
She named changed and people no longer agree with her (unless they know her old username). I have seen her being slaughtered on threads.

That just showed me that people were only agreeing with her because she was popular and well known!

She hasn't hidden who she now is as she still speaks about her children and family in the same way and has very distinctive posting style. The newer people wouldn't know she was a regular and will call her out on some of the things she says/does. There's definitely a clique, some posters are like guard dogs to some of the old timers Grin

I can think of someone who might fit that description, but I don't know that I'd say people always agreed with them.
