I can vaguely remember similar threads but have done a search and can't find a bedroom one. We are swapping rooms in our upstairs to even out the other 2 rooms so moving from front to back of house. Just being nosy looking for inspiration if anyone is willing to post? I can post our current one once DS is asleep

It's a bit colourful, though the room doesn't have a lot of light coming into it as it has a tiny dormer window for the size of the room..the rest of the walls are lime green

Here is ours. I've 'made the best' of the dark furniture we inherited, by I am slowly looking to change things. The top half of the dresser is empty, so I'm going to move that elsewhere and paint the chest of drawers a lighter colour. We are also hoping to replace the bed with someone slightly lower to the ground and without a footer(?) at the end, and I want to make a hanging headboard with some grain sacks we have lying around.

I also really need to finish varnishing the floor!

allthebestnamesareused. You could use a paintwash on your pine furniture, white or grey, new handles to get the scandi look, or ge someone else to d it for you. A shame to get rid of good quality wood furniture.

I'm not playing this game. I've failed at being an adult... our 'main' bedroom at the front of the house is actually DHs computer room. Imagine many, many x boxes and playstations, and collectible statues of games figures.

The room I sleep in is full of far too many clothes on the floor. My bedding has llamas on it though...

I'm so jealous of these beautiful bedrooms

We decorated our bedroom about 18 months ago and it looked lovely for about two weeks until the mess took over. We just don't seem to be able to keep on top of bedrooms, it actually gets me down at times.

The rest of the house is immaculate(ish) but never the bedrooms. I'm utterly bowled over by cathyandclare's bedroom...didn't realise real people had bedrooms like that maybe she's royalty or something

Here's mine. Very plain but relaxing.
There's usually a cat sleeping on the bed (they both take turns). Gets ugly on Wednesdays when they both feel entitled.

YABU. It's the room with a lock where al the shite gets put so it doesn't get trashed by the boys. Looks like something out of Extreme hoarders at the moment, because I've been having a big clearout and it's full of stuff ready to go to the charity shop!

Ours is horrible. Painted lime green, red carpet, blue velvet curtains (the only bit I actually like as the rest was inherited) and we have a giant super king bed that dominates the room, plus two chimney breasts running up each side do making it really alcovey. We only moved in 10 weeks ago, I imagine ours will be the last room that gets done.
