I can vaguely remember similar threads but have done a search and can't find a bedroom one. We are swapping rooms in our upstairs to even out the other 2 rooms so moving from front to back of house. Just being nosy looking for inspiration if anyone is willing to post? I can post our current one once DS is asleep Smile

However I am looking at all yours and wondering now what ours is missing. It could do with a bit more of something, that's for sure.

Plus it usually has 100000 piles of washing and rubbish and crap everywhere which is horrible. Konmari needed again...

Ginandonit, I love your room! It looks so elegant and comfortable. What paints did you use?

Ahem. See? Slightly more normal. Nb we don't normally have the TV on a random cheat of drawers there, DH just set it up because I was ill.

Bab do you mean the tidy one or the messy one? Wink

The tidy one is F&B Stiffkey Blue and a Dulux copy of F&B Skimming Stone. The little wall with the three pictures on is a copy of Elephants Breath.

Messy one is French Gray with same Skimming Stone cheat as above!

Wow, some beautiful rooms here.
This is ours. We have a super king size bed which takes up most of the room but I wouldn't be without it.

Here's ours. About to decorate it and change the skanky carpet for wood flooring and a rug. You can't see from the pic but there's a view across the estuary to the mountains from the window opposite the bed, which is nicer to look at than the slightly boring decor!

we live in a rented house so until my other half gets his ex wife to sell their house and we buy our own i am stuck with fitted wardrobes that look like those static caravan ones, two pine chests of drawers and my georgous new bed horrible cheap patterned pale blue carpet and textured wallpaper with horrid bark blue shapes pattern on it and vile but expensive curtains i hate it but cant change it at the moment , when we move my master will be coffee and cream with blonde pine wardrobes (freestanding) and dark chocolate coloured carpet

This is it within a few years of being decorated 13.5 years ago. On the list to be done again but we probably won't get round to it for another 1-2 years.

All of these are beautiful. Mine is huge and very tidy but was last decorated in the 1960s. It has bright orange wall paper and orange and brown lino on the floor. It is truely hideous. I won't post a picture because it'll give you nightmares.

Felicia is that a cable knit cream blanket at the bottom of your bed? I knitted one that looks exactly like that and it is folded many times cos it is enormous (I forgot to stop knitting) at the bottom of my bed !

Mine is hideous and tiny so I won't post, this thread has inspired me to do something about it though!

These rooms are lovely, most of them look really light and airy, my room looks so dark compared to some of these. I've been trying to upload a pic but it won't let me, I'll try again tomorrow.

My bedroom growing up was 20ft x 16ft. I had a couple of sofas, double bed, wardrobes, desk/table etc.

Eolian

Your room is gorgeous!

It looks so cosy and welcoming

My room is a mess, horrible old stained carpet, flaking paint, no paper on one wall (I stripped it with a view to decorating but finances don't allow

It is a tiny little box room with room only for a single bed and a small chest of drawers and a bedside table, when we moved in here I gave the two bigger rooms to the DC

I must do it up this year, even if it's just a lick of paint
