Seek That was not my extrapolation. There were different reasons why Americans voted for Trump. I have read that the Cubans voted for him because of some perceived insult to the Pope, for example. Some actually hope/believe what he says he can deliver. Others do not want involvement in more wars.

Some did vote for him, yes. But most of his support came from white, wealthy men. Those earning below 50k generally voted for Clinton. Those around 50k were split and those above 50k were for Trump.
