to be annoyed at DD's friend's Mum

AIBU to be annoyed that when DD (7) went to her friend's house her friend's Mum gave her fish fingers and beans as a dinner. When DD's friend visited us we gave her coleslaw and quinoa salad- a healthy meal! DD is ridiculously bright and unusually sensitive child and I believe this experience may have imbalanced her and disrupted her sleeping.

Aye right.

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 05/09/2016 10:58

2/10 or is this supposed to be hilariously sarcastic?

yoink · 05/09/2016 10:58

Ok

ghostyslovesheep · 05/09/2016 10:58

try harder - 2/10 not even worth a biscuit

DropYourSword · 05/09/2016 10:58

But coleslaw is full of mayonnaise. And there's no protein in there. Surely dry tofu would have been a better choice.

Hmm
ElornaElephant · 05/09/2016 10:58

You're not even a very good troll, you're just silly.

Just give her a fruit shoot and a bag of Haribo.

PurpleDaisies · 05/09/2016 10:59

You are so not bring unreasonable. Fish fingers and beans is not a meal. Where were the potato smiley faces? Disgusting behaviour.

user1473069153 · 05/09/2016 10:59

Livia- Not sarcastic at all. Genuinely a bit concerned.

Shannaratiger · 05/09/2016 11:00

YABU occasional processed food will do her no harm, sounds like normal food to me?

KnockMeDown · 05/09/2016 11:00

YANBU - there should have been chips with that.

DropYourSword · 05/09/2016 11:00

Concerned?

Pardonwhat · 05/09/2016 11:01

I'm guessing that this is supposed to be one of those threads but it's not even funny Confused

redisthenewblack · 05/09/2016 11:02

What is this kin-ow-ah you speak of?

LiviaDrusillaAugusta · 05/09/2016 11:02

Okay so not sarcastic...

Most people I know would rather stick pins in their eyes than eat quinoa, particularly with coleslaw. Here's a hint for next time, be more realistic.

They probably had far too much screen time too.

Just imagine what would have happened if she'd been served KFC!

user1473069153 · 05/09/2016 11:02

DD's always eaten coleslaw and quinoa. She's not a picky child in the least, she just doesn't eat any sort of processed meat or other foods- like beans. We mill our own quinoa on the nutribullet. It's a fun bonding activity for us both!

PurpleDaisies · 05/09/2016 11:03

This isn't funny. It's a bit pathetic really.

DropYourSword · 05/09/2016 11:03

I had quinoa for the first time tonight. Pretty fucking disappointed!

Dontneedausername · 05/09/2016 11:03

Oh, this has brightened up my shit morning 😂😂😂

FuzzyOwl · 05/09/2016 11:04

She clearly does eat other foods as she ate them at her friend's house.

YABVU to have wasted my time reading this.

Champers4Pampers · 05/09/2016 11:04

I though the schools went back today? Hmm

DropYourSword · 05/09/2016 11:04

Yeah, you're getting a bit boring now OP. I expect these kind of threads to be a bit more entertaining.

SparkleSoiree · 05/09/2016 11:05

I think I've just sussed thus, my first time ever!
