See that? A Twelfth. Not the.

Welcome to the twelfth (it DOES look a weird word Confused) thread that nobody responds to! We're a fun bunch, the most fun on mumsnet!! I cba to list everyone and who they are, but I'm sure newbies will get to know us through our posts Wink A couple of quotes from posters, which will have to do as opposed to me writing a description of everyone:

I'd like the words mysterious, mystical and endowed with supetnatural powers after my name please, AGL. says Bettercallsaul1

MyDressIsInferiorBlue adds:
Get a battery operated rabbit they are less trouble than a man but can still thrust (and always on demand too, unlike a man)

AGL I'd like the words 'hot', 'intellectual' and 'witty' after my name, please. No 'flouncing', 'dunno' or 'Co-Op Boy' (the latter is well and truly over). says ItShouldHaveBeenJess, as well as being quoted telling us:
I'd be happy with a thrust. Just one.

Let the insane posts, photos and pouting begin!

Grin

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 02/09/2016 20:34

Am perusing.

The noise is really irritating. But also worth it. Am happy right now.

PortiaCastis · 02/09/2016 20:42

The wind is getting up !

PortiaCastis · 02/09/2016 20:46

So if a person says they are one sex but states they are another is that trans?

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 02/09/2016 20:49

portia. Fuck knows, don't understand at all. Tried to engage Mummy in a convo this morning, but she interrupted to suggest I made another cup of tea.

Pronouns.

PortiaCastis · 02/09/2016 20:50

Well that was a well consructed sentence Grin

PortiaCastis · 02/09/2016 20:51

I dunno either as far as im concerned a male has nuts and a female doesn't

PortiaCastis · 02/09/2016 20:53

Pronouns remind me of learning french and the football pitch

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 02/09/2016 20:58

portia maybe don't say French and football in the same sentence right now. He's still out there. I like to think he's trying to attract my attention.

PortiaCastis · 02/09/2016 21:03

I'm nipping down the Ship so I'll leave you to peruse French footie.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 02/09/2016 21:06

portia. He's gone now Sad

AGL. Quit bragging about your 'huge new flat'!

AverageGayLad · 02/09/2016 21:11

AGL. Let's do it!

Wiggins was very aloof and frosty with me, but then he slept on my tummy every night.

I miss him.

Bettercallsaul1 · 02/09/2016 21:26

WiggIns is a great name for a cat!

AverageGayLad · 02/09/2016 21:28

I am so calling my cat Wiggins

OP posts:
ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 02/09/2016 21:34

better and AGL he truly was a 'Wiggins'.

Didn't wear lycra, though.

HelenaDove · 02/09/2016 21:54

MyDressIsInferiorBlue · 02/09/2016 21:59

I did a long post before I put the DC to bed but it vanishedAngry and I've been too busy to retype until now. Sorry.

Thanks for all the hugs.

Portia - I often read posts on here and think you obviously have no idea what you are asking of the OP. It may sound simple and easy - you ring women's aid and just leave. But its the hardest thing the OP, will probably, ever have to do. People don't seem to understand the emotional turmoil, the guilt, the sheer overwhelming nature of it, that they are basically asking you to walk out of your life and start it all over again, when you have zero confidence that you could survive alone, zero energy from living in that situation, when you still think things are your fault, that if you were better the abuser would be too. When somehow you still love the bastard. Each step in leaving is like some enormous obstacle and yet when you've completed that step you still only a teeny weeny little baby step closer to actually leaving.

To be continued....

VanillaSugar · 02/09/2016 22:02

Helena Confused My ExDH is from your area - just to the east of Chemsford. Confused

HelenaDove · 02/09/2016 22:13

OH blimey .

MyDressIsInferiorBlue · 02/09/2016 22:17

Vanilla A Detective Constable told me that I should be proud of myself for managing to leave, for my children. That it made me incredibly brave and strong. That lots of people can't leave, even for the children. All I could feel was guilt that I hadn't left sooner. But when you said "I couldn't leave exFWh because of me. I could only leave on behalf of DD." all I could think was you should be proud because it was an incredible thing, you were so brave and strong and you protected your DD.

Also you are not a shit mom if you've accidentally thrown DD's passport away because she left it in a pile by the bin. Its an important life lesson for her - you keep important documents safe and don't pile things next to a bin if you don't want them to end up in the bin.
