Welcome to the twelfth (it DOES look a weird word ) thread that nobody responds to! We're a fun bunch, the most fun on mumsnet!! Walkers smoky bacon are quite strong in flavour anyway. Sometimes Pringles hurt my delicate little mouth because I stuff 2 or 3 in at a time.

portia one of things I like about this thread is we can talk utter bollocks sense about all manner of subjects, and occasionally get serious, wile feeling supported and safe.

Red OMG I can't believe that - so basically, they want him to have peritonitis and an emergency??? I don't blame the doctors, I blame the system

MiL refused to go to hospital when FIL was dying. It took him two weeks. DH (the new one, not the c*&Nt) had to take her out to the seaside / garden centres ad nauseum during he say and then go and visit his dad at night. She has this "phobia" of hospitals, you see.

Two years on, we couldn't keep her out of the bloody hospital as she was visiting her grandson (my DS) - and using up all the allocated visitor allowance (don't ask ) so my mum and DD couldn't visit me, but had to wait until we'd gone home.

Hospital phobia my arse. I still haven't forgiven her, ten years later.
