Because I am smutty, filthy and like men in white coats.

wombat He is Mr Poldark, and very handsome too. I didn't know either. With very little a bit of encouragement, Portia will usually willingly share pictures. Except my favourite one, for some reason. (pretty much a full body, naked pic of him in bed)

Men (and women) in white coats are very over rated

wombattoo · 24/08/2016 20:01

Thank you Jess

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 24/08/2016 20:08

AF. I certainly wasn't keen on them that time they tried to take me away...

OP posts:
AnyFucker · 24/08/2016 20:14

I can see how that could happen ( the not keen bit, not the taking away bit....)

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 24/08/2016 20:33

AF on a more serious note, and as a recovering alcoholic, I have been endlessly amazed at the so-called expertise of the medical profession regarding addiction. I will rant about this at every opportunity and you've just given me one (there's the smut) . One doctor suggested I 'just buy a bottle of wine and chuck two thirds of it down the sink'. That's never going to happen because (a) I'm an alcoholic, and the same answer applies to (b) and (c).

I know

AnyFucker · 24/08/2016 20:50

(Have seen your other posts)

Some really ridiculous "wisdom" out there. ..

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 24/08/2016 21:09

AF. I think you'd make a great doc - LTB in my case would mean Leave The Bottle.

Am getting concerned about the whereabouts of my new BFF Glitter.

I had a beautiful white coat once. The bloody thing turned yellow.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 24/08/2016 21:16

Helena (yay!) I can't wear white because I'm just a grubby bugger (not smut, just a fact of life). I just get filthy - and I'm honestly not attempting innuendo here (must be my psychological default position). I've bought really pretty white tops and dresses - within 24 hours, they are covered in inexplicable marks and stains. Why?!

I'm in! Grin

On the subject of addiction there were addiction experts in abundance the other night. I was forced to tell the schoolkids in the Mn playground to grow up.
Jess could you link to the thread as Im in an establishment with my Gran which sells erm tea

HelenaDove · 24/08/2016 21:22

Im not a huge fan of white clothes. Any white t shirt seems to attract my coffee like a magnet.

i dont think white suits me. Red on the other hand...........

AnyFucker · 24/08/2016 21:22

I saw that thread and gave it a very wide berth

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 24/08/2016 21:29

portia and AF. I'm on a learning curve with MN but threads I will now avoid forever more are:

Anything to do with accused/suggested addiction.
Anything to do with 'badly behaved kids' - usually ends in some utter tit suggesting SN, followed by a bun fight.
Anything to do with single parents, particularly those in receipt of benefits.

Which is probably why I prefer this bollocks. Nonsense it may be, but there's a little more acceptance and kindness.

Aidan dosnt really do it for me. I like my men to look a bit "lived in"

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 24/08/2016 21:31

portia with the greatest of respect, I don't want to link the thread as I think it was a sad indictment of how fucked up MN can get. There are better threads out there for addicts.

OP posts:
ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 24/08/2016 21:33

portia. Tea? Are you having scons?

OP posts:
HelenaDove · 24/08/2016 21:33

Jess i take it you are fairly new to MN. Ive been on here for five years this week.

HelenaDove · 24/08/2016 21:34

I havent seen the aforementioned thread. im glad i havent.

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 24/08/2016 21:35

Helena. I know what you mean. He's very 'pretty' but no rough edges. And I like those.

Happy anniversary, Helena - I joined after my ex left in May but I loitered for a bit. Having read so many shitsville stories about people who are in 'happy marriages'; it did help me realise there are advantages to being single.

OP posts:
HelenaDove · 24/08/2016 21:38

oh me too. I also like a man to carry a bit of weight but the most important thing is the chemistry. If you lined my exes up in a row you would see each look very different from each other.

PortiaCastis · 24/08/2016 21:39

AF I do feel you would have been proud of me on last page on aforementioned thread as I admonished without my usual profane language.
Helena Aidey baby is very lived in, he lives in my abode
