AIBU to find Loose Women panelist Jamelia extremely irritating?

I can't believe I have admitted I actually watch that show But yes, I do

So is it just me? Jamelia is utterly annoying!

I know the purpose behind the show is to have panelists with different view points so that there can be a spirited debate.

But must she ALWAYS have a totally random opinion that is completely contrary to everyone else? It's absolutely fine to disagree, but her disagreement rarely makes sense and she always gets needlessly agitated while making her point.

She also has a tendency to be on a high horse and take the most uppity and moral stance possible.

I'm thinking of this one occasion she was so judgemental of women in the sex trade and another occasion where she had some odd opinions on teenagers being able to access birth control.

And believe me, I dislike Nigel Farage, but when he came on the show, he seemed like the sensible one in front of her. It wasn't I disagreed with her points, she was just so tangential while making it!!

Yabu she's one of the best panelists on the show. They should have her on more. Probably getting the dislike as she isn't your typical loose woman.

It's not very good

It's not just because I disagree with her, it's because so irritating.

I mean I practically disagree with Nadia on everything, but I love her on the show! She has such energy and she disagrees so respectfully. And she always has a reason for her opinion.

She is very, very irritating and does not come across well. I think she suffers from not putting her brain into gear before opening her mouth.

That said, LW is a terrible show. They need to bring back Late Lunch with Mel and Sue.

I like LW, depending on who the panelists are- some of them have very interesting views.

I like Jane, Janet and Nadia. And Coleen is always a laugh!

If they changed the format slightly and did away with random panelists like Jamelia and Vicky Pattison then it could be a good show

YANBU, Jamelia comes across as though she's out of her depth a lot of the time.

Perhaps that's why she just argues the toss with no real reason to back it up?

I don't watch it either, but have always found Jamelia to be a bit of an airhead (sorry to say).

Me: Judging by the amount of whingeing they're doing......ALL OF THEM!

They don't actually give their own genuine opinions on LW. It's a debating show - the producer will tell them what the debate is and which point of view they're arguing and give them some back up info.

The problem is, I just don't think Jamelia is very bright, so she can't 'ad lib' the argument or add her own points and she just seems to stick very rigidly to the info she's been given and parrots that even when the conversation has gone off at a tangent and it's not very relevant. That's why it often seems so random.

Can't stand Loose Women and haven't watched it in yonks but surely Jamelia can't be any worse than Sherrie Hewson? I loathed that woman when she was on LW, she was a complete fuckwit.

That Carole-I've -got-a -hangover-and-I-think that-i'm-cool, was ok, but very narcissistic. Jamelia unfortunately doesn't have access to the same variety of media as say Holly or Myleene, so she may have to accept what she can.

That said, let's give her a break. There are MANY stupid people on tv, especially ITV programmes. Let's not let this descend into a black lady hunt.

Sherrie I thought always looks like she is making things up. He stories are far fetched.

I like Katie Price on it.

Sherrie tends to come across as a bit 'try hard to be cute and dizzy' and I find that irritating.

Apparently the rating go up when Ayda, Robbie William's other half is on. I think she's quite good.

Controversial but i would quite like to see Anthea Turner back on the TV and also maybe Anne Diamond.

Yes jamelia is terribly annoying as is Katie price. I won't watch it if those two are on.
Nadia and Coleen are both brilliant, well informed, sensitive and very funny ladies!
I thought I was going to hate Janet s-p but actually she's ok on it.
It's the one programme I watch during the day - without it I'd never get any ironing done!
