Cheeky fecker!

DS is at a friend's house for a sleepover. The mother just text me to say he's been great, they've had a great time and they had a Chinese for dinner, so I can give her the money for his meal 'tomorrow, or whenever I have it.'

She must be joking right?

Definitely having Chinese tonight. Grin

That woman's off her wokker!

Did you see what I did there? Grin

AdrenalineFudge · 28/05/2016 15:39

Paul Do you think she said nothing as in anticipating that you'd offer up the cash without prompting or was it nothing as in she'd never even asked in the first place?
It's a noticeable difference - granted a very fine and almost invisible one but still Grin

Buzzardbird · 28/05/2016 16:05

Could you text her and ask if cheekyfeckersson would like to join you for a Chinese tonight by way of payment in lieu?

yorkshapudding · 28/05/2016 19:02

Maybe she saw this thread, realised the whole of MN now thinks she's a grabby twat and decided not to ask for money after all.

PaulAnkaTheDog · 28/05/2016 20:14

Worra

Adrenaline it was just a normal conversation, nothing out of the ordinary. Rather strange really!

You will get a text next week with her bank details.Nothing would surprise me.

DarlingCoffee · 29/05/2016 05:18

I would give her the money for the takeaway but that would be it for the friendship I'm afraid. And I wouldn't have her child round for tea again in a hurry.

RebootYourEngine · 29/05/2016 05:51

There is no way i would pay this. If she asks again id tell her what a cheeky fecker she is.

MurphysChild · 29/05/2016 06:26

She didn't say anything but she still expects you to pay, that's why she said "tomorrow or whenever" - she hasn't forgotten, she has marked for card.

monkeysox · 29/05/2016 08:27

How old are the dc?

Just had a thought. Maybe she always sends her dc with, say a tenner when he comes to yours. Maybe he never passes it on and keeps it for himself!?

That might explain this?

Totally guessing

RainbowsAndUnicorns5 · 29/05/2016 08:49

So she's not brass necked enough to say it to your face then, only over text therefore she knows it's massively cheeky!

dowhatnow · 29/05/2016 09:06

She may have got the message when you didn't reply to the text and didn't mention it when you picked up.

RhiWrites · 29/05/2016 13:21

Any update, OP?

AdrenalineFudge · 29/05/2016 13:24

Paul Might I remind you that you're going against standard trolling policy. You should have updated that she'd told you the cost for your Ds came to £11.95 but she'd be happy to settle for a tenner Wink.

PaulAnkaTheDog · 29/05/2016 15:58

An update on my update? Nope.

OP posts:
Mysteries · 29/05/2016 17:38

I wouldn't say anything about how horrible she's being until your child is safely home. She isn't the kind of person who should be looking after your child. I'd pay up and never let my child go there again. You can't be sure what she'll do next.

MammaTJ · 29/05/2016 17:52

That's just odd, especially considering you have fed her child with take aways and taken him out too in the past. If you had never done that, then maybe, just maybe it could be seen as a dig!

Muddlingthroughtoo · 29/05/2016 18:32

Don't give it, carry on like nothing happened then when she asks say, oh I assumed you were joking as we feed yours once a week and have never asked for a penny.

expatinscotland · 29/05/2016 18:56

Then I'd carry on as if nothing has happened. She brings it up again and I'd laugh.

Mandp76 · 29/05/2016 19:32

Wtf!!!! That's unbelievable. I bet her kid will grow up lonely as no parent will want their child to go for a sleepover again!

Only1scoop · 29/05/2016 19:35
Shock

Is she charging you per weetabix in the morning aswell?

Mumandmama · 29/05/2016 19:39

I think she was joking. Some of the suggested texts are so ott!

MsHoolie · 29/05/2016 19:55

A quick text saying'you're joking, right?' should clear it up quicker than all these posts?

Reading the thread would help too.
