OP - I think I'm being stood up

Replies - You are needy and desperate.

OP - My tenants are constantly late with their rent

Replies - It's your fault for renting your place. Expect them to do this, put up and shut up.

OP - I saw a man on the ground being hit by several police officers last night. WWYD?

Replies - But how could you have seen? It was dark. How could you see how many times he was hit? YABU

There's 2 threads going about someone breastfeeding when a wave machine was on on a swimming pool and now suing for 20K. Could be good...

kesstrel · 02/05/2016 13:39

prob a good idea, sparkling- though I'd be a hiding a lot of threads- small minority of posters but large presence in many threads!

I suspect there's a reason they have so much time to post on Mumsnet.

I'm waiting for someone to suggest a mass breastfeeding protest. Complete with snorkels and flippers Grin

It is true that alot of aibu posters have been to the Donald trump school of charm

CaptainCrunch · 02/05/2016 13:48

You didn't have the moral high ground said, your post was nasty, vicious and personal and now you're on another thread seeking validation for it.

She named about 4 posters specifically and made horrible comments about them. I reported it and it was deleted within 5 minutes. Now she's on here pretending she did nothing wrong.

Every OP is accused of bridge dwelling it won't be long til Telly Addicts gets the treatment too!

OP: my friend left me at a nightclub

Replies: you're a troll, that never happened!

OP: I think I saw my friends BF with someone else

Replies: I bet this friend doesn't even exist

OP: my husband doesn't want intimacy anymore

Replies: oh it's the school holidays again.

I'm often left Shock and think where on earth did that come from?

Yes there have been trolls but if half the OPs were trolls they'd be very bland, boring trolls - what's be the point?

It's like having bad experiences dating a few men so deciding to never date any - seems bizarre!

YABU. Just do like I do - Read op, eye roll, quickly click 'hide' and go back to active. If I'm grumpy, I might leave a curt comment but usually hide it then, and move on. Admittedly, I am less tolerant when I am grumpy.

Trills · 02/05/2016 14:24

Good correction there Handoff

Vital that we not be allowed to believe that you made an unforgivable grammar mistake (there/their) rather than a simple typo (there/these).

UptownFunk00 · 02/05/2016 14:27

Btw I love MN.

I think there's a fine but noticeable line between asking questions if the OP is being unkind or giving contradictory information and being quite vile.
