Is it me or would most other women feel unsettled about a shed loads of blokes getting rat arsed near the red light district?

erm what i'm saying is that it is hypothetical when you say you 'wouldn't mind' because it isn't going to happen. Perhaps you'd feel differently if he was in fact a regular punter. Also, where do you draw the line in 'not minding?

It's not what you say, but what you are not saying that is confusing. You say wouldn't mind, but it's not clear what. So could you say what it actually is that you wouldn't mind your husband doing? You could be a swinger- or happy with open relationships for example, so you are being frustratingly vague.

YANBU because i have been there and the prostitutes are hot which makes it even worse BUT if someone is going to cheat on you they could do it ANYWHERE, there are hot women everywhere.

I was sad enough to go along to a strip club when I was young because I thought it was cool I was sickened by how the men behaved there was nothing to be jealous of the women are a commodity and treated as such

The issue I have as I am sure many on here is that we don't think it's right that women can be bought and that men think it's ok to buy women for their own sexual gratification

I love the absolute certainty that some posters have on these threads insofar as just knowing what 'men' get up to on a stag weekend.

I agree with this, and as a man I have never, nor would I ever, visit a strip club or visit an escort. However, it also must work both ways. I have seen and known women who have behaved equally badly on hen nights with male strippers. Even buying a ticket to go and see Magic Mike is basically the same thing - you are paying money to ogle the male form, even if it isn't live and immediately in front of you.

I agree still, I would never go to watch some man writhe about on stage, but then I wouldn't accept an invitation to a hen night.

Probably not. I am very beautiful, and would no doubt be able to model if I could just motivate myself to use make-up, and I feel exactly the same.

Why on earth be jealous of strippers? I don't envy them at all - and prostituted women even less.

As for women watching male strippers, I think for many it is the same as watching female strippers, a demonstration of being cool and relaxed and "one of the boys".

Can't see the appeal myself.

I live in Amsterdam. They all do the same thing - get bladdered on the way out, hit a coffee shop and then spend the first night being sick on the Rembrandtplein. After a recovery breakfast at one of the sports bars they'll wander around the red light area in their shirtsleeves pretending not to be impressed/freaked out, a couple of them will be more 'sophisticated' and will make their way in to a club and watch a bored woman rub her bits against a pole. The rest will go back to the sports bar or one of the Irish bars and spend the night watching Champions League or boxing. They may wear amusing comedy boobs or dress as Disco Stu, but trust me they are dull and predictable and not at all a threat to anyone's relationship. They for sure win no originality prizes.

I'd be more worried about money - Amsterdam is EXPENSIVE

The sex industry is alive and kicking and is very well supported by men ( and women), strange how it's always someone else's oh though.

Nobody's doubting that the sex industry is alive and kicking - but it's not servicing all men. If it was, cities would be being taken over by red light districts, instead of restricted to a street or two.
