To think if you want to get rid of David Cameron, vote Leave.

Ken Clarke has said that "David Cameron won't last 30 seconds if the country votes leave".

That will plunge the Tories into civil war in the party. George will probably take over et voila!

George will never win an election. He has all the charisma of a blocked sink.

If you think the Tories are screwing the poor now, just THINK what they will do if they do not have to comply with EU rules about working hours and health and safety and staff welfare

it will be DISASTROUS for anybody on less than £30k a year if the UK votes to leave
and pretty shit for the remaining third of the population

MintyBojingles · 16/04/2016 14:30

YABVU.

What a stupid reason to vote to leave the EU - a huge decision which will impact our country for decades to come. I don't like Cameron, but he'll be gone in a few years no matter what happens.

IamSlave · 16/04/2016 14:37

Talkin, but you cannot argue that being in the EU has benefited poor people either, in fact many would argue a whole generation has been lost to the EU.

IamSlave · 16/04/2016 14:39

I worry that leaving would open a massive can of worms (economic, commercial and financial) from which we would struggle to recover for a very long time

Grin The EU is the can of worms, we need to get out of it!

Patapouf · 16/04/2016 14:44

YABVU and fucking patronising.
If you want to vote leave, that's your prerogative. Unfortunately you are entitled to a vote.
I think we can unanimously agree DC is a twat but he won't be around for ever and our EU membership is extremely important. Voting to leave will have a negative impact spanning generations and generations, we only have to see DCs hammy face for a few more years tops.

as for Corbyn being a champagne socialist, you need to re-educate yourself on the meaning of socialism.

Finola1step · 16/04/2016 14:51

DC will be going whatever happens in June. He has already made it very clear that the wants to step aside by the end of this parliament. His exit may be quicker with a "No" vote but it would be crazy to got No on that basis.

AugustaFinkNottle · 16/04/2016 14:52

I would love to get rid of Cameron, but that would be a ridiculous reason to vote to destroy the country's economy.

TiggerPiggerPoohBumWee · 16/04/2016 14:53

If you want to get rid of an ugly pimple, shoot yourself in the face with a rocket launcher.

Idiotic.

IamSlave · 16/04/2016 14:55

Rather vitriolic there patapuf, people also strongly believe staying will leave will

"have a negative impact spanning generations and generations" one could say its unfortunate you have a vote too, but one will restrain one's self Grin

Leave or stay in the EU, that's the british people prerogative. But taking a long term decision just to oust a elected political leader is laugheable. Moreover if it is to maybe put over a party that is clearly riddled with antisemitism, and has no claim on having a clean and unified house.

Scarriff · 16/04/2016 15:01

Lots of Conservative hating here. Can I respectfully remind the Labour voters that if your guys were running the country you wouldn't be asked whether you wanted to Remain or Leave. Seumus Milne would decide for you.

TiggerPiggerPoohBumWee · 16/04/2016 15:06

Can I respectfully remind the Labour voters that if your guys were running the country you wouldn't be asked whether you wanted to Remain or Leave

Thats a good thing. You shouldn't even be talking about leaving, or be given the option. You don't let children decide whether they want to go to school or not, or eat their broccoli. You tell them whats good for them and get on with it.

OfaFrenchmind2 · 16/04/2016 15:08

Yeah, who needs democracy anyway...

SwedishEdith · 16/04/2016 15:09

What a stupid reason. Worryingly, I think some people actually think this is intelligent though.

UKIP didn't need to win seats in the general election - they'll achieve their purpose because people hate Cameron. Madness. Angry

TiggerPiggerPoohBumWee · 16/04/2016 15:10

DEmocracy is where you vote people in to make the big decisions for you, not where you ask the populace to make stupid decisions for poor reasons, like this ridiculous Brexit notion.

MadameDePompom · 16/04/2016 15:21

Can I respectfully remind the Labour voters that if your guys were running the country you wouldn't be asked whether you wanted to Remain or Leave.

It's ridiculous this referendum is even taking place.

IamSlave · 16/04/2016 15:25

Its this very attitude that makes me more adamant we need to get the hell out.

ClopySow · 16/04/2016 15:41

TheNaze73

Please come back and talk about champagne socialist corbyn.

ClopySow · 16/04/2016 15:44

That's because the Conservative government are hateful cunts.

Topseyt · 16/04/2016 15:54

Yes Slave, I would agree that the EU is a can of worms, but it is the can of worms we know

I am very much a "devil you know" person. Conservative with a small c .

LunaLoveg00d · 16/04/2016 16:05

This sort of thinking really gets on my wick. A referendum is not like a general election vote. If we vote to leave the EU that's it forever. We can't turn round in a couple of years and say "sorry, this isn't working out, can we come back?" Not everyone likes the government, fair enough. But voting "leave" to get rid of Cameron is just stupid, short sighted and moronic.

It's just like the Scottish IndyRef where people were advocating a "yes" vote to send a message to the Tories.

Scarriff · 16/04/2016 16:14

I don't know where you live but in this very mixed area of London everyone seems to have an opinion. I think we need a referendum because the EU has changed enormously since 1975 and many people no longer think membership is a good idea. I will vote Remain but I am aware of many good people who worry about the level of immigration from the poorer East of Europe for example. Why shouldn't they have their voices heard too? Why do some Labour supporters on here assume theirs is the only valid opinion?

FirstWeTakeManhattan · 16/04/2016 16:53

lots of Conservative hating here

Weird. It's just inexplicable isn't it?

Oh hang on...

FirstWeTakeManhattan · 16/04/2016 16:56

But voting "leave" to get rid of Cameron is just stupid, short sighted and moronic

And to ignore the level of hatred that people have for Cameron would also be stupid, short sighted and moronic.

Because a lot of people now really, really the Tories and feel utterly impotent. I won't be among them, but I understand why people might just want to use their one, tiny bit of power to stick it to the vile ringmaster of this fucking horrible government.

It might not be wise, but many people are extremely unhappy and see this as their chance to express it.
