To spend £1000

I want a luxury spa and Michelin star restaurant for me and my DP. Live in the Midlands, so open to a lot of areas.

Looked at The Priory in Bath and The Grovesnor in Chester so far. I want utter decadence, but not sure whether these places will offer that. Upto £1000 for two nights.

Am I asking too much for the cost?

Calcot looks lovely. Didn't come up in online searches. Think I'll go this summer. Thanks for responding.

If you're happy to go a (very) child friendly spa. Calcot will be just the thing for you Grin

Jaimx86 · 27/03/2016 23:50

Because, happy at 40, I'd rather converse with people than just read reviews.

What did you ask for?

Jaimx86 · 27/03/2016 23:50

Would prefer child free.

Your conversation skills are somewhat lacking...maybe it's your brusque manner.

Jaimx86 · 27/03/2016 23:52

Dodo how you must love online searches. Sorry my search didn't match yours.

Conversational skill.... Should stop me asking did hotel advice? Bullies.

HungryHorace · 27/03/2016 23:59

Well, you said you want to 'converse' with people, but when you're not calling us bitchy and super poor you're just barking short sentences at us. That's not really going to make a pleasant conversation.

Vixyboo · 28/03/2016 00:00

I would suggest this is not a real thread

ouryve · 28/03/2016 00:01

That exquisite bit of conversational skill where you hurl insults and cry bully, all in the same breath. Like a 12 year old.

Just fucking grow up and then you might get the answers that suit you.

Look at Tatler's spa guide. It has a uk section

DiscoDancer · 28/03/2016 00:06

Marking place. Jaw dropping thread. What is the OP on?!

NashvilleQueen · 28/03/2016 00:06

If you think Hoar Cross Hall is exclusive luxury then I honesty don't think you've a clue. It's on secret escapes every other week so they can flog off the rooms.

I know lots of really very nice places. But your comments throughout this thread are such that I'm not minded to share them with you.

WicksEnd · 28/03/2016 00:15

C'mon Pippa, stop playing silly buggers it really is bed time.
