Op - DD's rabbit died last week, she's very sad.

I'm not sure whether to get another rabbit when she's ready or perhaps a Guinea pig instead?

Goader - It sounds to me like you're not particularly good at looking after animals. In fact I'd say you probably shouldn't be allowed to have pets. I feel sorry for your DD.

Sorry to hijack the thread OP but there's a real life goady thread going on right now about Eddie Izzard.

I've been on MN forever and have seen some shocking flamings in my time. The most was the one where a woman was asking if SWBU to ask her neighbour not to constantly peer over her 8ft fence as her and her family sunbathed, and she got told that she should be nicer, take him out for days out, basically include him in the family etc. Was a load of shit.

More recently a poster who is a learner driver slammed on her brakes after her DH shouted 'stop!' (They were about to hit a kerb) and the woman behind her crashed into her. She felt bad and the question was "if you were me would you take the blame?". Of course, normal people said "no, she didn't leave enough room, she was in the wrong according to Highway Code". One MNer said "yes I would take the blame because I'm not an arsehole"

And yes there are those who pick up on irrelevant points. For example-

Having been on the Retail Hell thread, I've been visualising a Venn diagram. One domain/set is 'difficult customers', the other is 'Giady Fuckers'. I think the intersection might be quite well-populated.

I think some GF's are people who have stuff going on in RL that has made them a bit edgy, and they take the persecution complex/ unleashed aggression to AIBU mumsnet.

I agree with usual.

I also think the level of goady-fuckerness is measured by how much you disagree with that person's opinion. If you agree with them then they are just 'telling it like it is'. If you disagree with them then they are a goady fucker and completely derailing the thread.

Oh and not forgetting a very recent on where the OP had had an affair, got pregnant by her lover and started afresh with her teenage daughter and the new baby and lover all living together. The teenage daughter had depression due to the OP and her DH splitting, and the OP wanted to know ISWBU to have another baby as she was getting on a bit and thought it would be her last chance.

Now, she did come across remarkably selfish, and deserved most of the comments, but a good proportion of GF thought they were Jeremy bloody Kyle. She was told she was a terrible mum, should have had an abortion, that her DD would be better in foster care!!!!! It was fucking horrendous car crash of a thread

Oh and OP YABVVVU to consider a new pet when there's so many rescue Guinea pigs. Only shallow cunts would even consider buying a New Guinea pig. What do you do when your children get older? Will you dump them for newer models? HMM? WELL WILL YOU?!
