AIBU to be sick to shit of all the bizarre hyperbole on here recently?

I hate "mortified" and "bliss" myself. Especially when they are written as full sentences.

While I was out I noticed a random DC failing to say thank you to a shop assistant/ waiter/ bus driver or speaking above a whisper in a library - if my DC had ever behaved like that I would have been mortified (no, you wouldn't - you might have been vary mildly embarrassed for about 2 seconds and hopefully reminded them).

I don't know why you are complaining about your baby being passed around like a parcel for extended periods and not handed back to you on request when they scream to be fed - when my extended family do that I love having my hands free. Bliss.

Well, I think I can speak for all here, that I'm mortified by your post. Horrified even.

I am not even at a keyboard, i'm on an ipad. It was so funny i ran over to the computer just to spit tea all over it. Hang on, i dont drink tea. I boiled the kettle, made some tea, waited for it to cool enough to be able to drink, took a mouthful, ran to computer and spat tea all over the keyboard. There. :)

I've just woken my neighbours baby because I'm literally shaking with rage at this discusting thread. I can only be grateful that I don't have any tea in my mouth otherwise I'd need a new keyboard.
