To be really pissed off with sister regarding my upcoming wedding?

My sister is supposedly a bridesmaid at my wedding in May yet -

She doesn't want to come on the hen night or have anything to do with it
She doesn't want to try on dresses etc with the other bridesmaids
She doesn't want to stay overnight at the venue with the other bridemaids
She won't join Facebook to join in the group chat about the wedding which is fair enough - but she also won't join whatsapp or give anyone her mobile number so was completely unable to take part in choosing dresses/shoes etc meaning I had to literally travel to her house and show her actual pictures to get her opinion.
The latest one is that she doesn't want the hairdresser doing her hair on the day as she's scheduled to have it done the week before as it's every 6 weeks so it doesn't "fit".

We also arranged a night for the bridesmaids to come to my house, we'd have a bit of a drink and all try on our dresses - she doesn't want to come to that either. She's 22 btw.

I've asked her if she actually wants to be a bridemaid and she says she does yet she's making everything so fucking awkward and difficult. AIBU to be annoyed? I'm not a bridezilla but when she's actually making the planning difficult it's starting to piss me off. My mother sticks up for her and makes out it's me being unreasonable.

Fun? Friends? Looking decent? Mobile phones?

nowyoucmo, how do you know the other bridesmaids are friends of the sister's? There's every chance that they aren't. Spending time in enforced jollity with people you don't really know is not everyone's idea of fun.

Red What's matchy-matchy about people who are going to the same event as bridesmaids having their hair done at the same time? They could have a range of pixie-cut through to hair-down-to-bum for all we know!

Augusta I didn't say they were friends of the sister? - certainly didn't mean to imply that. And I KNOW it isn't 'everyone's idea of fun' - but so what? If it's your mate's/sister's wedding surely you join in?

FFS! I imagine some of you lot sitting with your arms folded at Xmas refusing to pull crackers or where paper hats - "I don't believe in all this unnecessary fun!" / "Christmas isn't about boxes of Quality Street - get them away from me!" / slamming the door on carol-singers because you see it as 'over the top enforced fun'

Haha - I just feel sorry for the poor moo! I didn't have/want half the stuff on her 'list' by the way. I just think people should (at the very least) be able to ask for what they'd like - even if they don't get half of it. If that makes sense.

OP's question was is she being unreasonable to be p'd off. I don't think she is. Disappointed definitely! If you can't rely on your own sister to even feign interest then it must be pretty lonely for her. And the wedding's only in a few weeks.
