That Tyson Fury is a Dickhead

He is a good boxer, granted. He should so be removed from the shortlist of sports personality of the year and put up for Dickhead of the year! According to him Jessica Ennis-Hill "slaps up good" and his personal beliefs are that " A women's best place is in the kitchen and on her back". Even if he thinks it's just harmless banter and a part of his show man personality, he is still a dickhead for saying these things out aloud!

I don't like what he said so I don't pay attention to him. He won't win SPOTY but I do agree he should have been included, like him or not I cannot knock his boxing achievement, and he did deserve to win that fight. In terms of talent he should be recognised but unfortunately it's his big gob and out dated views people are talking about. We are all adults, we don't have to agree, most of the intelligent population can appreciate that. His views are very common amongst the older, very religious, and traveller community, just ignore and understand not everyone has the same values!

LineyReborn · 08/12/2015 08:58

derxa I meant, is it true that he made threats?

ButtonMoon88 · 08/12/2015 09:01

Haha just caught up with thread! Grin

derxa · 08/12/2015 09:03

Tyson Fury spoke to the camera when he told me what was going to happen for telling the truth about his views on homosexuality. He looked over his shoulder at a man called ‘Big Shane’ and said he would break my jaw with one straight right hand. ‘Oliver,’ he said, ‘take a good look at him because that’s the face you’re going to see before you hit the deck.’
Then he indicated a man standing on the other side of the room and said that would be the face I saw when he was jumping on my head. ‘What are you going to do to him?’ Fury asked on the video. ‘I’m going to
him up,’ the man said. Fury smiled.

Thank you for the link, derxa.

Boxer or not, it makes for grim reading.

ButtonMoon88 · 08/12/2015 09:28

Bloody hell dexra that's awful!!

TinklyLittleLaugh · 08/12/2015 09:37

I really enjoyed my SAHM years, and am enjoying my part time working from home years now, (most people assume I am still a SAHM anyway). The difference is that I have a good education and a husband who is quite happy for me to do whatever I want. I don't think all traveller women have those choices.

VulcanWoman · 08/12/2015 09:44

Tyson FuRRy is a meathead.

BertrandRussell · 08/12/2015 13:12

"just ignore and understand not everyone has the same values!"

Eh? That is ridiculous! His "values" are just completely unacceptable.not just different. Of course they can' t be ignored!

Ohbehave1 · 08/12/2015 13:14

Already complained to the BBC and their answer was " it's about sport, not what he believes in"

Believe it or not though Bertrand not everyone thinks the same as you.

What he says is disgusting and prehistoric but there are lots of people who agree with him.

Hence my comment ignore, he has no impact on my life

SurferJet · 08/12/2015 13:34

Dear BertrandRussell.
It is with great regret that we have to inform you that unfortunately, you have not been appointed God of everything. We understand how frustrating this must be, but we feel the world is a much better place if people are allowed to think for themselves.
We hope, in time, you'll come to realise this & not get too wound up by anyone who doesn't share your precise values.

Yours faithfully etc etc

BertrandRussell · 08/12/2015 13:35

So do you think people should be allowed to publicly express any opinion they like?

SurferJet · 08/12/2015 13:38

Yes.

Exactly Ego and itsmine.

Free speech doesn't mean the right to say what you like, consequence free.

BertrandRussell · 08/12/2015 14:06

So if he had said that, for example, women could stop themselves being raped by not opening their legs, or that some children "groom" adults to have sex with them, or that homosexuals should be put in prison, or black people have lower IQs than white people(all views held by people I am aware of) that's fine, no problem with him being in the running for Sports Personality of the Year?
