I can't get over the fact that he's called Bruce

Met a nice guy, been out a couple of times but he's called Bruce and it angers me! It makes me cringe and I can't seem to get over it. AIBU to just give up on him over it?

YANBU. If his name annoys you so much, he obviously not the one for you. Throw him back for another woman to have, plenty more fish in the sea.

I used to go out with a Bruce. He was cool, loads of fun. The name suited him. Whats wrong with Bruce?

I have two friends who are married to a Bruce. Both are hard workers and great dads. I think it's quite manly actually.

I quite like it.

I did have an ex that I referred to for nearly 2 years as "my boyfriend" to avoid saying his name out loud.

Just don't use his name! I hardly ever call my DH by his actual name, I just use a series of pet names. (His name is fine though and so is Bruce)
